My relatives literally said: “Ni siquiera nos resolvieron ni en familia ni nos recibieron”—and they meant it. We stood under a glaring host, unacknowledged and frozen in place for ten minutes, while other families were seated around us.
We asked politely: “Is there any way to seat all of us together tonight?” Her answer was a curt “Not tonight”, no alternative offered, not even whisper of remorse.
At that moment we felt like invisible second‑class guests who didn’t exist—my grandmother asked if there was somewhere else to sit, but we were pushed out, unheard.
We left hungry, humiliated, and vowing never to return. Food (even great waffles) can’t fix a place that refuses you—not just any group,...

Read moreIt was our first time eating at this place and as we arrived (approx 1:05-1:10pm) we were "greeted" by Adriana. Before we could even say a word she said "just so you know, we close at 2".
