I recently spent a few days at Hotel Lindo Ajijic with a group of friends, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, with a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay truly special. We especially enjoyed the pool, the massages, and the sauna, all perfect for unwinding. The stunning views added to the sense of tranquility and made every moment feel like a retreat. One of the highlights was the peaceful, adults-only environment, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the calm of this gorgeous place. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, and we were especially impressed by Fernando, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. While I love children, it was refreshing to spend time in a serene setting designed for adult guests. I highly recommend Hotel Lindo Ajijic for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a truly beautiful and welcoming place.

We stayed in room 4, super nice view, nice and comfortable beds, TV, A/C, taxi service, breakfast was delicious, the only thing is the WiFi is slow but I learned is that way in Ajijic. I will definitely go back, There’s no hair dryer but if you call and ask for one they will provide for you one. Also, just so you know, you have to carry your luggage which is totally fine for me, place is beautiful Mexican style and I will stay there again. I loved the location, walking distance to town and nice restaurants, also we took the bus to go to the Racket Club for our tournament, easyyyy!!

This one of the most beautiful hotel at Ajijic. We had a great time and we had an excelent suit (#8), you must be there. You have your own private terraze with your own private jacuzzy and both with great view to the Chapala Lake. We also had a very nice massage from Reyna and Tania. Finally we had a great service from Lupita. By the way I see that Lupita was our host, also she helped on the kitchen and also she covered any need, so I think the owner need to watchout to burn their team wich is a very good team.

First a bit of context. My wife is from central Mexico and I am from the Midwest USA. We live and work in central Mexico. Before COVID, we traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. We are both bilingual and bicultural. ||||We had a trip to Guadalajara planed for New Years and we decided to leave a day early to see Ajijic. We did not have reservations. My wife looked on line for a hotel during our 5 hour drive. She noticed that the prices that on the website that offers reviews and prices from several booking services were rising as she continued to look, so we decided to go directly to the hotels in which we were interested. ||||Hotel Lindo Ajijic was the first hotel we went to, they had a room and parking. The price that they gave us was half of what we were seeing online. The hotel is beautiful!! The gardens, the pool, the hot tub, the guest common areas, and the kitchen area are all extraordinary. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The streets are well maintained (this is very important in Ajijic as most of the pueblito is horrible). The staff was excellent. ||||One of the best features was the kitchen area. In the morning the staff prepares breakfast for the guests and it is wonderful. The rest of the day, the area is open to the guests to prepare their own food. Also, the area has a beautiful view of the pool area, garden, and a bit of the lake.||||We were in room 5. It was very nice and smartly decorated and clean. The bathroom was a bit tight but all the doors opened completely. ||||Now the reasons I did not give the hotel 5 stars. The air conditioner made horrible noises, grinding, banging, and squealing to name a few. The noise seemed to be cyclical as the noise would stop and a short period of time later, would resume in the same pattern. The noise was such that it was difficult to sleep and it would wake you up. The window did not open, so your options were to deal with the noise or the heat. When we checked out, we informed the staff about the noise. They acted surprised and said they would check into it. The staff had to know about the noise as the room is above the reception desk. Also, the sheets were quite itchy and uncomfortable. ||||The pueblito Ajijic was a huge disappointment, especially close to the lake. My wife and I travel extensively throughout Mexico and have visited many of the pueblitos mágicos and there was no magic in this pueblito; other than some consider it magical. It is dirty, there was dog feces on every street, garbage, and no control of the traffic or parking. I doubt that we will ever return to Ajijic but if we do, Hotel Lindo Ajijic will be our first choice. Note: we did meet another couple that told us that the other pueblitos in the area are much nicer, that the original residents did not want to change anything in...

First, there were no complaints about the condition of our room - nice bed, couch, modern bathroom, etc. We would prefer to have the toilet more closed off from the room, but guess that's a cultural thing. ||||What there was of staff were friendly and accommodating, but arriving very early in the morning there was no one to open the gate for us. We stood in the street pushing the buzzer for about 30 minutes until another guest came and let us in - his wife was being woke up by the buzzing, and not happy. Then, we waited in the office area for nearly two hours before any staff showed up.||||Breakfast starts pretty late - 8:30 or 9:00 - and was OK, very basic. No sign of any management most hours. As another review stated, the walls are thin. You can hear other guests' conversations, plus there was a hot-water heater (we think) making loud gurgling noises at night.||||The pool was not warm and the hot tub was more of a warm tub.||||The location is somewhat away from the main town, but walking distance to a Waffle House (8AM) and another nice restaurant (8:30) next to it.||||Next visit, I think we would try to find a B&B with more attentive managers nearer the Malecon (which is a wonderful walk). Try Oui Oui restaurant, where we had our best meal of the trip. Their charcuterie (sp?) tray...
