Carla and Wendy provide the best service and food for the money that you can find. I ate breakfast there several mornings and enjoyed a variety of omelets as well as the healthy Verde drink. The fresh corn tortillas from the tortilleria just down San Salvador were always good. The chiliquilles are tasty, too. The sisters, their mother, and another lady get a lot of carry-out orders, especially the tortas. Based on my experience eating and observing, the quality of food and service is appreciated throughout the Cinco de Diciembre neighborhood. I have celiac disease, and I never had a negative reaction to the food after eating there 5 times during my one-week stay. It's not a designated gluten-free kitchen, but, if you tell them about your dietary restriction, they will do their best to accommodate you by being careful.
