OPA Greek Bistro - The Original — Restaurant in Jalisco

I don't normally write reviews, but last night we went to this restaurant for the fist time and right from the start the waiter/owner had something going on and it wasn't over busy either. The service was well below par at any restaurant. I ordered drinks with no ice and they came with ice. I ordered food and asked for certain vegetables not to be on one of the plates and guess what, yes they came on the plate. I asked for some extra tzatziki sauce and on my final bill I was charged $390 pesos. The manager/owner/server after asking why I was being charged for a small amount of extra tzatziki and explained it was for the person that didn't want the vegetables, he basically said, we always charge for extra sauce and no consideration for the cost savings on not giving vegetables and obviously no consideration for the shoddy service, from my...

Stepping into OPA is akin to stepping into Greece. The restaurant offers a large selection of Greek dishes. My wife had a delicious traditional Greek salad. I had the rack of lamb. Both dishes were "five star" (actually even more if it was possible). While we were eating, the restaurant owner, his wife, and sister in law arrived to dine as well. Ricardo Arriole, owner, is an amazing host. He is warm and welcoming, bringing an ambiance, an aura, few restaurants can, if any, can match. His presence topped off a wonderful dining experience.
