Restaurante Tlali Puerto Vallarta — Restaurant in Jalisco

This has been open only 3 weeks. I don't believe the fictitious reviews you have on IT. The price is too high. The steak, and th shrimp had only a few leaves as vegetable though the menu said veggies are included. So we had to order A salad. It came with a few leaves without any dressing. This cost us 1,000 Peso with 15% proppina. We could have had a GOOD meal anywhere in the 56 countries we have visited for 1,000 Peso or US$58.

The building had been updated. The music was good.

Proprietor please drop your prices and improve what you call vegetable or salad. The taste of the steak sauce and the shrimp sauce were good. We will come back I year to check. We did the same with Santos Mariscos nearby and saw they improved with time....

Had my second visit to Tlali last night. Food and service were excellent as usual, but I have one complaint.

Both times I've come I was charged in USD after the server showed me the price in MXN, and my card was charged a not-insignificant service fee for the "convenience." PLEASE STOP DOING THIS, at least without asking.

Tlali is already a pretty pricy place...I definitely do not agree to an additional 5-10% fee for something I neither want nor need. This is the only restaurant in Versalles I've had this issue with. My card is perfectly capable of paying in pesos without an added markup.

Amazing meal. Highly recommended if you are looking for elevated food and atmosphere reasonably priced for what you get. Favorites were rib eye and potato stack and catch of the day. So flavorful and exquisitely prepared rib eye was very generous appetizer portion. They also have home made bread. Complimentary basket for the table did not even need the amazing compound butter but it was also delicious. Kind of like a light brioche. You can also buy different types of bread to go. Juan was our waiter and took excellent care of us from explaining food to wine suggestion. Newer restaurant and I am sure they will do well. Beautiful...
