There was nobody there. The cook was rude. I went in and used the washroom, then I was going to sit and order. First I asked for some ice for my own travel mug and had to pay for it before they would fill it up. Then I asked the cook if the Chinese food he was eating was on the menu or a special. He said it's not Mexican we don't offer it here. He was not gracious about it at all. And tried to belittle me. Of course I put a stop to it and smiled wide. Bid them a wonderful afternoon and slowly walked away. I did not order after that. No wonder it was empty. It's too bad because only 5/6 years back I had been there numerous times as I know the owner who rarely makes an appearance there but none the less it was more inviting, full of happy staff and customers each time up until this last experience. Best flavor, juicy hamburger in a long time, maybe ever. It was my 2nd time eating here, and the roast chicken package was excellent the first visit. Attentive waiters, clean ladies room, will go again! It definitely beats Plaza Caracol, around the corner. The burger was plain, well-seasoned Angus beef, huge patty, on a fresh, good bun. This is one of my “go-to” places. They have my favorite breakfast: Scrambled Eggs Mix. Eggs, chorizo, mushrooms, Serrano, potatoes and Oaxacan cheese with fresh hot tortillas. Frijoles on the side.
