There was nobody there. The cook was rude. I went in and used the washroom, then I was going to sit and order. First I asked for some ice for my own travel mug and had to pay for it before they would fill it up. Then I asked the cook if the Chinese food he was eating was on the menu or a special. He said it's not Mexican we don't offer it here. He was not gracious about it at all. And tried to belittle me. Of course I put a stop to it and smiled wide. Bid them a wonderful afternoon and slowly walked away. I did not order after that. No wonder it was empty. It's too bad because only 5/6 years back I had been there numerous times as I know the owner who rarely makes an appearance there but none the less it was more inviting, full of happy staff and customers each time up until this last experience. Kind of uptown cantina. I...
Read moreThis is one of my “go-to” places. They have my favorite breakfast: Scrambled Eggs Mix. Eggs, chorizo, mushrooms, Serrano, potatoes and Oaxacan cheese with fresh hot tortillas. Frijoles on the side. Really delicious and only $179! We pick up their whole Peruvian barbecue chicken and bring it home at least 2-3 times a month. And their nachos are the best in town. Great ribs! They’re thread deal. Not baked in the oven with gloppy barbecue sauce, they’re slow smoked over a wood fire. Family dinners are a...
