The Peacock Garden — Restaurant in Jalisco

beautiful gardens and tasty food, service was good but not great, however when my family left the restaurant I forget my cellphone and charger inside the equipal chair, the restaurant was empty only 2 other people were there, we only walk for like 10 minutes when I realized my phone was missing and come back to get it, well, the phone was not there and one of the waitress was gone and the other blame the customers, I request to talk to the owner and he did not offer any solution other than calling the waitress and ask for an explanation, of course he said he did not saw anything so yes there are some thieves in this restaurant, it's a shame, so be careful with and don't leave anything behind, because it will not be returned.

comida buena, lugar precioso, un ratero en el lugar, se me olvido mi telefono en el equipal y despues de 10 minutos regrese y ya no estaba un mesero ni mi telefono, el restaurant estaba casi vacio, solo mi familia y una pareja, a la cual le echaron la culpa de haberselo robado y no me regresaron nada, asi que cuiden sus pertenencias y cuidado. el que se dijo dueno de el lugar no ofrecio ningun tipo de solucion. que tristeza que pasen...

Wednesday for Lunch Mom and I decided to finally try the Peacock garden Restaurant in Ajijic. The grounds are very pretty with a couple that was attentive and friendly that took care of us. We started with Margaritas which were very tasty. I got the Zarandeado Shrimp that were seasond and cook just right and was served with a tasty rice and small salad. Mom being a fish lover chose the fried bass which was quite a large piece a fish. The breading was not greasy at all and the fish was perfectly cooked, white and a wonderful texture to it. Honestly I was suprised Mom ate it all but she really enjoyed it alot. I even thought it was very good and I'm not a fish lover at all. We of course had the additional friendly Peacocks which did Share a little of my salad with. The food was acceptable the service was beyond terrible. Our poor waiter was the only waiter on hand to serve about 20 different guests, no other waiters on duty. It was myself and both my parents, my mother's dinner and mine both arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered, which is fine because let's face it, were on holidays and not in a rush. But my father's dinner never showed up. We were assured it was coming, well my mother and I both finished our dinner and then we patiently waited at least another 30 minutes for my father's to arrive. Finally we just said to bring us our bill, they didn't care at all, no appologize given.
