One of my favorite Mexican dinner restaurants, anywhere. Food is simple and a la carte, limited to pozole, sopes, tostadas, enchiladas, and fried tacos - with no sides like rice, beans, or chips. The pozole is the best I've tried, and is always what I start with. Bean sopes are small but tasty. Farmer's cheese enchiladas are semi-dry, Jalisco style. The carnaza tacos resemble flautas. Agua fresca de jamaica (sweet hibiscus drink) is...

The service was awful, they were disrespectful to us and they seemed to look mad as we kept ordering and actually took the orders wrong. Food took really long to arrive and it was either cold or soggy. Overall flavor is not the best, except for the pozole, everything else tastes pretty much the same. Such a great place for dinner. Aguas frescas and the pozole were both on point, and everything we had tasted home cooked and super fresh. Great spot for an authentic and well priced dinner!

Well, this was not what we thought. We had a group of 7 people, and none of us liked the food. We are not locals, so we are not used to used to those flavors.
