I ordered a Long Island but as it was brought to me, I could immediately tell they put too much soda in it. I took a sip and it tasted like nothing more than a coke with some rum. I hate coke, and Long Island's don't usually taste like it because it should only be a splash. I left my drink on the side of the table not even touching it the entire night. The waiter came by many times and not once asked if we were enjoying the food or drinks. After an hour, we finished the food but my drink was still full. We asked for the bill and I offered to leave a 5% tip on my card. Only at the point we wanted to pay and leave did they finally ask if we were happy and needed any replacements. I said no because I needed to leave by that point. The lady charging my card snapped at me and said "fine then no tip I guess" and I said ok let's make it 0 then.
Tldr: staff only waited until they got a low tip to ask if we were happy, then showed attitude as if I were the problem for not allowing them to rectify the problem as I was leaving.
This restaurant is overrated. Prices are high, service is barely paying attention, food is not that great, drinks...

Everything I ordered was delicious. I had the combo with ribs, chicken, steak, and sausage, and let me tell you, it was on point. The ribs were super tender, the chicken had this garlicky flavor that was just right, and even though I’m usually a ribeye kind of girl, that steak was delicious. The sausage was also tasty.
It all came with French fries and this sweet coleslaw that was really different, but in a good way. I also added a side of corn. The portions are HUGE. I got three meals out of it, easily.
The vibe inside is really nice and welcoming. They even have a play area for kids, which I thought was so thoughtful. It’s giving family-friendly, date night, or even solo "I’m loving on me" vibes. No matter how you show up, you’ll feel comfortable.
Zenizas is definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. If you’re in Puerto Vallarta, add this to your list. Trust me, your stomach will thank you!

Read moreBeautiful new restaurant Versailles area. The GF and I shared a full order of ribs - they were pretty tough, not fall off the bone, quite dry and not hot when they arrived to the table. Although, with all these faults the ribs were still pretty good - given the price, which was quite reasonable. Food service was slow, we were surprised how long we waited, as it was early on a Friday night, and not busy, we had to confirm with a staff member our order was still coming. Table service was a little green, very young staff, I sensed inexperience, and no natural effort to make us feel welcome or taken care of - but these things come after a restaurant ages and becomes more seasoned - time will tell if this restaurant is to achieve this. I wouldn't recommend - but would say go see and judge for yourself, perhaps you'll have a better experience. I still might go back to try the Molcajete, which is what I wanted, but the GF...
