For a great Napoli pizza the ratio of tomato sauce cheese and dough which can be thin but the edges have to be cotton ball like. Getting the basics makes the pizza taste great. Skill is required in cook time and with 400 Celsius oven even 30 seconds more can make a pizza try. Also star pizza makes don’t roll the dough with a roller pin. This place was recommended by a local so I went. Unfortunately on Friday the 17 2023 the pizza was rolled too thin, cooked too long arrived dry. Not even a sizzle of olive oil. When I tried to eat it by folding the slice part of it broke to give u an idea. Was a joke. Greek salad while a huge portion should not be called Greek salad as the huge portion is mostly romaine salad which is not an ingredient in traditional Greek salad. I would avoid this place if I were you, and if you don't believe me read the other negative reviews first before you make up your mind.
Food - okay, not great Atmosphere - you can get better in most food places in Mérida Price - a bit overpriced for pizza but borderline acceptable Service - shockingly bad
I would give 3 stars for the food, but the owner was so rude that I had to bring it down to one star.
They charge premium for pizza which would be OK if the pizzas were premium and they're not. On top of that the owner is very rude and the only thing that's "authentic Italian" in that place is the owners self-entitlement, as he couldn't admit the hairs on my pizza were from his employees.
I will never come back and I can assure you you will have a better experience and better food at any other place in Mérida.

Read moreWe came for a dinner to this restaurant because it had good reviews and was close to our home. The restaurant had quite some customers. We took a place in the garden.
We ordered a pizza with ham, salami and mushroom, one Greek salad, Coke Zero and a hibiscus water.
The order came in 15-20 minutes. The pizza was very tasty, it was enough for two; the taste and look was European/Italian. The salad was huge, fresh and tasty; could also be shared for two. The hibiscus water was also very tasty and refreshing. We paid around 400 pesos with tips.
The place is very cozy, the garden is small but lovely: plants, decorations on the wall. The service is fast and polite.
Overall this was a...
