Our waiter was charming and very friendly. He gets 5 stars. I wanted to love this place as it was sitting up overlooking Santa Ana and that was lovely. We had a margarita, and they were pretty good. Then we ordered a 2nd one, and my glass which was shaped like a cactus, was dirty. The dirt which turned out to be chia seeds, was stuck in the handles which were shaped like cactus and glass, so the drink went up into the handles to where the dirty part was. I had been drinking this before I noticed the dark in the handles. Needless to say, this grossed me out, so I notifed the waiter and he told the bartender. They were truly sorry, and I get that stuff can happen. They wanted to get me another, and i said no.....I didnt want one, mostly because I was grossed out. I had about less than 1/2 of the 'dirty chia' glass one. They brought me another 1/2 margarita in a new glass. I wasnt interested, and didnt drink it. We figured it would have been left off the bill, but this is why 3 stars and should be 2 really. I give 3 because of the friendly waiter. I get that stuff can happen, and I get that mistakes can be made, but clean the glasses properly (covid?) AND.....take the drink OFF the bill. Easy. They didnt do that. I had to pay for the dirty glassed margarita. I felt bad for the charming waiter, and even the bartender who apologized profusely, but.....no excuse to not at least take it off the bill. The guacomole was delicious, but the tostada chips that went with them were stale. Not great even though we wanted it to be. I hate leaving a review thats not 5 stars, so, maybe they can learn to clean the glasses, and take stuff off the bill if it not satisfactory, and open up a new bag of tostado chips or...

The bartender and server both came to the table many times explained literally every single dish and made special cocktails for three different people and fully discussed the ingredients in each dish and cocktail. Beyond providing great service they were both very kind and actually hilarious. Our baby got a little fussy and they brought her different toys and food and little things to play with all while joking and making...
