We ordered 5 dishes to give it a fair tasting: yakimeshi, pork belly, bao, kushiage and chicken. None of the dishes stood out, all were too salty besides the Yakimeshi which was the only thing we were able to eat. Chicken could be good with a better sauce on the side and less salt. Pork Belly has a weird off putting flavor to it, bao is deflated, and kushiage was ok. All five of the dishes come with the same shredded cabbage and cucumber and no Japanese sauces. For the price I’d go to Kuro Uma instead. Service was good. Overall disappointing because we came on a recommendation and high reviews but I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

Llegué sin reservación y me asignaron mesa tras unos minutos de espera. El lugar tiene buen ambiente y aire acondicionado, lo cual se agradece. Me asignaron una mesa amplia, lo cual estuvo bien, pero al revisar el menú noté que en casi todas las secciones había platillos no disponibles. Me quedé con ganas de probar los dumplings y el helado tempura, por ejemplo. Pedí unos kushages como entrada y un ramen como plato fuerte. Ambos llegaron al mismo tiempo, a pesar de que pedí que se sirvieran por separado. Esto hizo que la sopa se enfriara mientras comía la entrada. Servicio rápido, sí, pero poco eficiente. El ramen fue correcto, aunque el caldo no tan sabroso como en otros lugares. Lo más decepcionante fue el postre: un pan con helado que claramente sacaron directo del congelador. El pan estaba frío y el chocolate adentro congelado, como comerse un submarino helado. También pedí una bebida con helado, pero llegó toda batida. No sé si así sea la presentación, pero no fue nada agradable. El mesero fue atento, pero estaba solo atendiendo al menos cuatro mesas, lo cual afectó la eficiencia. Tuve que llamarlo un par de veces para pedir el postre y cambiar la bebida. Los precios son razonables: no baratos, pero acordes con lo que ofrecen.

Vamos al grano. La comida está decente, con buen sabor ( Nada extraordinario), parecen porciones grandes, pero no, es pura apariencia por el plato. Proteínas super escasas, cada platillo tarda 30 min en hacerse (y te lo advierten) y del servicio… Mesero con un buen intento de atender bien, pero actitud forzada, no se siente natural la personalidad. Tardan en traerte las bebidas; de estas, solo manejan 3 opciones embotelladas, con sus diferentes variantes de sabor, pero con menor contenido que una lata de refresco, carísimas, no tenían hielo, una eternidad para que lo consigan; los vasos huelen a sucio, no levantan los muertos ni basura de la mesa… Ijole! Pensé que se hicieron virales y tenían menos de 3 meses de apertura, cosa que justificaría tantísimos errores y falta de preparación, pero, ¿Más de un año abiertos… Domingo… vacaciones… quincena… en el centro… zona turística… con video publicitario recién publicado? Wow, están cañón. Platillos que probé: - Udon con salsa de cacahuate - Ramen de cerdo - Bao de cerdo, de camarón y de setas - Setas en una salsa roja - Gyudon (Si lo recomiendo) - Gyozas (Muy buenas)

Terrible experience. Just opened for the day 2pm, half of the drinks on the menu unavailable. We ordered appetizers for 5 of us, they brought 3 plates and three forks ??? The food came out one dish at a time. The last two orders came out at least 20 minutes after the others. Two ordered were wrong. How can the Ramen take longer than everyone else's dishes EXCEPT - The table that came in AFTER us and ordered AFTER we did, got their two orders of RAMEN ten minutes+ before ours came out. Asked to speak to the Chef and was told he was too busy. Will never be back and will tell the person who recommended it about...

This place is a serious gem. We are traveling to Merida from Miami and my wife loves ramen. she takes one bite and says it’s better than anywhere in Miami. Mafe, the owner and head chef is a sweetheart. She made incredible ramen then took time to come speak to us and share her story. Alex, started off the whole experience by finding us a table even though we didn’t book a reservation on a Saturday night. He explained everything to us in English as well.

The food is incredible and the people are even better! You must visit...
