My boyfriend and I were staying in the Condesa neighborhood during our recent trip to CDMX, and he found this place online and liked it so much on his first visit that we came back almost every morning for the rest of the trip.

We were surprised to find such a legit coffee place with such a wide variety of beans and brewing methods (some of which I'd never even heard of before). My cappucino and matcha latte were just okay, and lacking in latte art presumably because it's hard to make art with almond milk, but my boyfriend's coffees were all delicious. He got a V60 with a bean roasted in a barrel of whiskey which was unique, velvety smooth, and scrumptious. The food is all fresh and delicious. The toasts are a great value. I've had better acai bowls elsewhere though (theirs was a bit tasteless in comparison to places like Ojo de Agua).

My boyfriend went a little overboard and purchased a few of their handmade coffee mugs and several bags of coffee.

The interiors are modern and comfortable - maybe a bit too much so, so that people love to camp out here all day and work on their laptops.

The baristas are also super friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share their love and knowledge of coffee. They aren't fluent in English but speak it well enough for all intents and purposes. On our last day one of the baristas even gifted us a...

I’m writing this review as I’m sitting waiting for my drink and it’s been over an hr… I came here on Friday 1st march 2024. I ordered food and drink and ate what I could of my meal and asked for the rest to go. I waited over an hr and never got my food in a box nor the tab to pay. So I Went inside and they said they threw my food away and asked if I wanted something else instead and I said no but that I would be back to try again. They did try charging me for the food they threw away but later they took it off my bill… SO I came back the next day (my mistake for even trying) to try again as I really wanted to enjoy this place. I asked for a nitro cold brew. They had a huge staff working with little NO people inside as I waited patiently for my drink while they walked around the shop. I NEVER received my drink so I kindly let them know that I was leaving and that I never got what I ordered. They said nothing to me and I walked out. Worst customer service I have experienced in my life actually. With so many coffee shops in the area this one would get a 0 if I could mark it that. This is also coming from someone who owns multiple cafe’s so I would tell the owner or management that they have A LOT to learn and grow from. 2 days in a row that they messed up...

It’s a very nice space and atmosphere. I actually came here twice. The first time was lovely. I ordered the Buddha bowl and it did the trick - breaking up the delicious tacos of Mexico City with some greens & protein.

However, the second time I came I ordered the Blend Salad with Tempeh and the Avena (oat with apple and cinnamon bowl). I ordered it for take out and sat and waited for at least 15-20min before take out. While waiting patiently at one of the bar stools I asked the barista if my order was put in the system for “take out” and she did not answer. She actually ignored me and then made a “stink face” and gave me attitude instead. Now, I can’t tell if it’s because she was having a bad day or didn’t understand because I asked it in English, but nonetheless I think customer service is a negative on that one. I think as customers of your restaurant it’s important to at least try your best to answer questions and reassure the customer, if asked politely. I do not think I deserved the look and stink face, and she proceeded to look at me rudely, when I was trying to make eye contact with here.

Needless to say, I was...

As an iced coffee connoisseur from California, I always have high expectations for my cold brew, and Blend Station in Mexico City made a commendable effort. It's rare to find a coffee house in the city that offers cold brew with oat milk, so I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the coffee was noticeable, as it was properly steeped overnight – a stark contrast to other places in the city where cold brew is often just lukewarm coffee poured over ice. This attention to detail in the brewing process was much appreciated. The customer service at Blend Station was outstanding, contributing to a warm and welcoming ambiance that enhanced the overall experience. The only thing missing was the option to sweeten the cold brew with agave or a sweet simple syrup. It's a bit surprising that no coffee houses in Mexico City seem to offer agave, especially considering it's native to Mexico. This addition would have made my cold brew experience perfect. While it wasn’t the absolute best cold brew I've had, I applaud Blend Station for their effort and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality cold brew experience in Mexico City.

Blend Station is easily the best café in Mexico City for getting work done. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (the most English I’ve spoken all week), and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You can comfortably spend a few hours here without feeling out of place. The Wi-Fi is fast, and they’ll even bring you a hook for your bag. The coffee is hot and strong. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and I especially loved sitting by the window inside, watching the rain. It’s also dog-friendly, which adds to the charm. The food is plentiful: the sandwich menu is huge and very filling, and the selection of baked treats is large. Not the best food I’ve had in the area, and not made quickly, but I mainly come here for the strong internet, kind service, and relaxing vibe.
