Update 9th April...I've been here 3 times now in last 2 weeks once for breakfast (review below),once for just drinks and now for horrible lunch. Ordered chicken and mushroom pie with mash. When dish came over pie was cooked on outside but luke warm in middle, mash was out right COLD with cold gravy on top. I let waiter know and he took dish back...this is were they made things worse. They drenched plate with extra gravy and put whole plate into oven. How do I know this? When plate came back gravy had a skin layer on top, pie was completely soggy and mash at best was luke warm....only thing hot was plate. I had 3 bites but couldn't eat as it tasted disgusting and looked like something you'd feed your dog. Waiter asked how was food in Spainish and I said "comida muy malo" translates to food very bad....he showed manager the plate and they said something in Spanish and didn't bother asking me anything else just gave me my bill. This place isn't interested wether you have a good time....I'm here for 4 month's and lucky theirs more pubs to choose from.
Having been traveling South America for 2 years, seeing advert for English breakfast I could not wait to visit. Went Sunday morning and I wasn't disappointed....this is a great effort considering we are 5000 miles away from sunny England. Cumberland sausages were flavourful and beans , although not Heinz, were good. Staff were very friendly and service great. I saw they also do fish and chips so will diffinatley came back for evening meal...
Read moreTerrible. Why? Do you feel like waiting over 30 minutes to get your food? Do you want to be disrespected? Do you think it's acceptable for the waiter to blow his nose and not wash his hands afterwards before handing you your drinks and food? Didn't think so... Well, that's exactly what this establishment specialized in. I went there to watch a soccer match, the staff has a hard time working the TV and treats customers with disrespect. The waiter kept saying: we don't have that, repeatedly... To the point he figured to write down a list of what they do have... The food is overpriced for what you get. I ordered chicken Tikka masala and after 35 minutes waiting I get the dish along with two tiny flour tortillas... Not naan as the menu states. My friend ordered fish and chips and there is a copious amounts of salt (picture someone throwing a handful of salt). Once your beer runs out you have to tell them you would like another one; they spend their shift looking at their cellphone and staring at the TV instead of being on top of things. Needless to say, I would never think about...
Read moreHorrible experience. Wasn't expecting much since it was an irish pub that serves indian food lol. The food was indeed horrible. The beef curry didn't have a single piece of beef in it and tasted horrible and odd. It didn't taste like anything, anyone, from anywhere would ever crave let alone ingest. It had ingredients in it that weren't mentioned in the menu (lots of crunchy garbanzo beans?!) So I pushed it aside and ordered a grill cheese sandwich. Of course it was served cold and came with sauce that was oddly exactly like the uneaten beef curry that was cleared from my table about 5 min earlier lol. The mac and cheese was good tho. Lastly, I went there to watch the Bills game and of course they changed the channel on the TV I was clearly watching to accommodate some local patrons. I left still hungry and of course was charged in full for everything. My fault for giving this place a try. Don't make the...
