Café la victoria — Restaurant in Mexico City

I forced myself to La Victoria because I’d been stuck at home all day. I had planned on taking an Ecobici (the HSBC branded city bikes) to a museum in the north of the city, but it rained fairly heavily in the afternoon. Este café pertenecía a la cadena de “el Jarocho” y la calidad sigue siendo la misma, aumentaron las opciones en la carta y un poquito los precios pero sigue valiendo totalmente la pena. Hay mesas y sillas sobre la banqueta y también a u lado mesas dentro de un local para poder disfrutar de los productos. Me sorprende leer algunas recomendaciones en donde dicen que los trataron súper mal, yo he ido en varias ocasiones y el trato es bueno, aunque claro te despachan con exceso de rapidez lo cual podría parecer descortés; el muchacho que atiende te saluda sumamente amable y hasta bromea contigo, haciéndote muy amena la compra. En general me parece una gran alternativa para bebidas a base de café o chocolate, buena relación calidad y precio.

This café used to belong to the "el Jarocho" chain and the quality is still the same, they have increased the options on the menu and the prices a little bit but it is still totally worth it. There are tables and chairs on the sidewalk and also on one side tables inside a local to enjoy the products. I am surprised to read some recommendations where they say that they were treated very badly, I have been there several times and the treatment is good, although of course they are very fast which could seem rude; the guy who attends greets you very kindly and even jokes with you, making the purchase very pleasant. Un lugar bueno si es que vas solo o en compañía, el ambiente en esta sucursal es ameno y te hace sentir calidez, ya que es un punto de reunión donde convergen familias y amigos. En esta ocasión me tocó ir un viernes y tuve la fortuna de escuchar muy buena música en vivo. Del menú destacó el tamaño y sabor de las donas, panques y rosca de zanahoria, el sabor del chocolate, ya sea en presentación caliente y fría, el mokachino y el capuchino, más sin embargo, las galletas a mi parecer, un poco insípidas. Destacó tambien, que si bien es un buen lugar para pasar el rato, el flujo constante entre medio de la banqueta no ayuda demasiado, comprendo que es parte del establecimiento pero considero se podría hacer algo.
