My recent visit to Carlotta Reforma, the elegant bar at the Ritz in Mexico City, was a remarkable experience deserving of a full five stars. Every element of my visit - the exceptional service, the refined ambiance, and the superb drinks - worked in harmony to create a truly memorable evening.
From the moment I stepped into Carlotta Reforma, I was greeted by a team of warm, professional staff who took hospitality to the next level. Their commitment to offering personalized and attentive service significantly enhanced my overall experience.
The atmosphere at Carlotta Reforma was a delightful blend of sophistication and comfort. The tasteful interior design, coupled with cozy seating, provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
Now, on to the highlight of the night - the drinks. The menu was a curated selection of unique, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive list of fine wines. I decided on their signature cocktail, the Prickly Pickle Prince. The drink was a work of art, beautifully presented, and tasted just as good as it looked. The delightful mix of flavors, balanced to perfection, was both refreshing and complex, leaving a lasting impression.
The Prickly Pickle Prince stood as a testament to the talent and creativity of the mixologists at Carlotta Reforma. Their innovative approach to cocktail-making added a unique and enjoyable twist to the evening.
Nestled within the luxurious setting of the Ritz, Carlotta Reforma shines as a beacon of refined enjoyment. This bar has undoubtedly set a high standard for hospitality and mixology in Mexico City. I wholeheartedly recommend Carlotta Reforma for anyone looking to elevate their evening with a fantastic cocktail in a chic and relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to...
Read moreBars like Carlotta with their amazing views, high floor location, pomp, and social media propaganda can fool the inexperienced patrons; distracting them from their poorly crafted and off balance cocktails. Unfortunately for Carlotta, I have enjoyed extraordinary cocktails at the worlds best bars on multiple continents for decades. The first cocktail I ordered was a complete disaster and completely off balance. Supposedly primarily composed of Remy Martin, the cocktail was so off balance that the cognac was imperceptible. The second cocktail, a Boulevardier, was decent but was Campari "heavy" and off balance; improperly overshadowing the whiskey component. A Boulevardier is supposed to be equal parts whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Campari; actually in world class cocktail bars more than 1 part whiskey. The cocktails here are simply improperly composed/crafted by an inexperienced bartender that is unskilled. Good for your Instagram maybe, but nothing to offer...
