Overall it's a nice stay which you can expect from the Four Seasons. Comfortable, well-equipped room with the signature cloudlike Four Seasons bed. No balcony but you do get a window that overlooks the courtyard. Courtyard is pleasant to relax in and also has a bar and restaurant. Sometimes it's a little loud in the evening - there may have been a private event or something happening during our stay. Four Seasons staff are always incredibly kind and helpful and I loved being able to text them for anything I needed from the FS app. We requested turn down service but it only actually happened 1 out of 3 nights. I unfortunately did not get a chance to use the pool or spa during our stay. Food and beverage on site were... fine. We ate and drank at Fifty Mils the first night we arrived which was decent but nothing close to what I expected for a cocktail bar that touts itself as one of the best in the world. We also ordered in-room dining one evening when we were super tired from exploring all day, food was pretty average and came from a very limited menu. Getting room service for breakfast may be the better move. A little random tip from me - don't get duped into the "bubbly bar" at the bakery/cafe onsite - one glass of champagne was like $35 USD and is a whole involved thing that comes with little fancy bites. I thought it was just a cute way to get a quick glass of champagne to walk around with and was kicking myself for not just ordering a regular glass from the bar. Hotel location was good, lots of small cafes and places to eat within 10-15 minutes walking. You can walk to Chapultepec Park too. We found ourselves taking Uber pretty frequently when we were checking out different neighborhoods as Mexico City is quite large. A solid stay. I would always recommend Four Seasons and this one in particular was a good value.

Beautiful hotel that has that Hacienda feel with a nice entrance in a great location. The courtyard is lovely and loved that the hotel is centered around it. Firstly, we stayed in a Superior King Room - very spacious and larger than we expected, bathroom was big with a tub and shower and there was a huge closet as well. Bed was super comfy with nice sheets. Secondly, the pool/gym/spa area is a bit tricky and took a long walk to get to if your room is not located on the far side of the hotel. Gym was clean and water/towels readily available. The pool area is nice and quiet (not many people seem to use it). Also, there are locker rooms with a sauna for guests to use. Thirdly, our room rate did come with breakfast at the hotel restaurant Zanaya. We had breakfast here everyday in our stay - the buffet is amazing with a great selection and the coffee is delicious. Fourthly, the hotel Bar Fifty Mils was highly recommended by the staff as a highly rated bar, but there was honestly nothing special or distinctive compared to the trendy and popular bars around the city. Fifthly, as I'm sure most Four Seasons must be - the crowd is pretty American white. Not much diversity or Spanish folks which was surprising for the cultural hub that Mexico City really is. Lastly, the staff is decent - they are polite and helpful and were welcoming. Overall, I am giving this 4 stars because nothing did really stick out to make it 5 stars honestly. It had the feel of a really nice Hyatt or Hilton especially with all the carpeting and old school colors and furniture style - so for the price point, I would not overwhelmingly recommend. I'm sure there are other more affordable and equivalent options at other hotel chains in Mexico City.

Four Seasons Mexico City falls short in comparison to other Four Seasons properties world wide.

While the court yard is very beautiful and the rooms just like any four seasons hotel were immaculately clean - I really struggled from the moment I got to the property to well after I left.

I rented a private car which I coordinated directly through the concierge which I have done at almost every Four Seasons property. The car that we were picked up in was what I would describe as not a very nice car and was actually concerned we were being led by someone who wasn’t actually working for the hotel. We also weren’t provided any water for the journey to the hotel which normally isn’t customary for the private airport transfer.

Most other four seasons property will keep in touch with you during the initial airport pickup and during any experience package you purchase. Mexico City FS was completely off the grid and out to lunch. I purchased the hot air balloon experience which my father was injured on route to the hot air balloon take off. I tried numerous times to contact concierge or the hotel - and didn’t receive any sort of response until five hours later when I was on my way back after the experience without any real explanation. As a lawyer, I found this to be extremely negligent on the part of the hotel that is coordinating “experiences” for their customers without any follow up or check in or real concern. When I spoke to the hotel manager, they attempted to shift the blame on the hot air balloon company. It was absolutely not their faults that FS Mexico isn’t on top of packages they are providing or general service itself. At any other Four Seasons property I have never had an issue booking an experience package. The four seasons at other properties checked up on me, the tour guide, and also if I ever reached out would have some sort of response in minutes. Four Seasons Mexico waited about 5 hours after being informed my father was injured.

Further, to make up for the experience, they tried to refund us for just the experience package - but I never got the refund until a month after my stay in Mexico. When I look back I don’t think was enough considering my father was injured.

The front desk service was also aloof and unfriendly.

Ultimately - the Hot Air Balloon trip was the highlight of our stay and I would HIGHLY recommend booking it for your staying at this location. The company the four season contacts with does an amazing job of providing a once in a lifetime experience that you will always remember.

I think that this property is over priced for the extreme lack of care and service you will experience. Aside from the hot air balloon experience, I would consider looking elsewhere in the city for luxury accommodations that provides good service. You will not...

My partner and I were guests at the Four Seasons Hotel in September of 2023. On the first night there the air conditioning was leaking. I called and a very unapologetic person said that a handyman would be on the way soon. The sound of the water leaking was making us pretty miserable and after a little while I had to call again because the handyman was not coming. When he finally arrived they determined that the air conditioning unit needed major repair which he couldn't do at the time. In the morning we went to the Front Desk and they moved us to a large room facing Reforma. The rest of the stay was uneventful, in terms of bad things. The rooms are spacious but they are overdue for a renovation, the furniture is heavy and dated, kind of Pottery Barn(ish). The sofa in the living room had a pull out bed and therefore as a sofa it was very uncomfortable to sit on.

Today is December 12th, 2024 and I have had fraud from the Four Seasons Hotel on my Amex card. They charged me $1,001 for a no show reservation. I was taken aback since I'm in New York and I have not made a reservation for the Four Seasons Hotel nor I have planned to travel during this Holiday season.

I placed a Fraud Claim through American Express. In the meantime, I called their Reservation number to try to understand what happened. The reservation department transferred me to another number and after speaking to a very rude lady briefly she transferred me back to the reservation department. I was trying to get an explanation for the charge but the lady kept taking over and didn't listen for a second what I wanted to say. She then decided to disconnect. Before she did, she said that they couldn't give me money back because the reservation was made through American Express which not true because American Express doesn't do reservations on my behalf unless I authorize the reservation and the payment.

If you ever come across this type of issue with this hotel, DO NOT expect that their reservation department is going to help at all. They only thing they are well trained to do is talk over you but they have zero customer service skills, nor the willingness to help. I don't think that I could ever go back to this hotel: to charge me for a reservation I didn't make and then to speak to me like that one the phone! This hotel doesn't deserve to have any customers. I don't recommend anyone...
