This was my third visit to CampoMar on Presidente Masaryk, and it continues to impress me with its exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and delectable Mexican cuisine. Each visit leaves me craving more, and this occasion was no different.
The service at CampoMar is consistently excellent. The staff are not only attentive but also well-versed in Mexican wines, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance is inviting and perfectly suited for enjoying a delicious meal.
Although they were out of Almeja Chocolata, I had the pleasure of trying the Almeja Reina, which was simply delicious. The taco de jaiba fresco was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For the main course, I opted for the catch of the day, Robalo. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, showcasing the quality and skill of the kitchen. Special Mention to their Bread and butter (If they do not take it to the table, please exit it as soon as you arrive)
We paired our meal with Casa Madero 2V (Chardonnay & Chenin Blanc), a delightful choice that complemented the seafood beautifully. CampoMar boasts a very fine wine list, along with an impressive selection of tequila and mezcal. Additionally, their cocktail menu is well-crafted, offering a variety of refreshing and innovative drinks.
Casa Madero 2V. Sight: Pale straw yellow with lime green highlights, indicative of its youth.
Nose: Intense aroma of tropical fruits and flowers. Lychee, guava, syrup, apple, peach, melon, and acacia, jasmine, and tuberose flowers.
Palate: Very elegant and refreshing. Dominated by tropical fruits like mango, guava, pear, banana, and citrus, with jasmine flowers. Good persistence.
CampoMar offers generous portions at a reasonable price, making it a great value for the quality of food and service provided. Each dish is not only satisfying but also leaves you wanting to return for more.
CampoMar continues to be a top choice for seafood lovers in Mexico. With its excellent service, delicious food, and inviting ambiance, it never fails to deliver a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, CampoMar is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy fresh, flavorful...

Campomar Masaryk is a culinary gem that truly deserves a five-star rating! 🏆 We started our meal with the delicious shrimp broth and the smoked marlin, both of which set a wonderful tone for the evening. Our waiter, Mauricio, provided exceptional service that made our dining experience even more memorable. The seared tuna steak was impeccable, offering rich flavors and a perfect sear that melted in the mouth. The zarandeado shrimp was a highlight, showcasing a beautiful blend of spices that elevated the dish to new heights. 🍤 The black aguachile made with Chiltepin chiles was simply outstanding, delivering a bold and spicy flavor that perfectly set the stage for an unforgettable meal. 🌶️ As for the drinks, the 70 Spritz was refreshing and perfectly balanced. 🍹 Highly...
Read moreA group of 4 of us had dinner here. Unfortunately even though they have an English menu, it took us switching to a server who could speak slow, enunciated Spanish before we could even order in Spanish. They also completely didn't put in a drink order and an appetizer order. In general, there was a clear, wide, gap in the experience level of the front of the house. The food was quite good across the board, including the first bit of the mussels. Unfortunately a good 30% of the mussels were shut after cooking and their neighbors were way fishy too. I stopped eating them at this point as I didn't want to risk it. The atmosphere is cool, and the overhang holds up to a downpour of rain. For 4 of us including wine it worked out to only $150, which...
