I was traveling alone, I asked the hotel for a place with fresh seafood I was recommended by the staff: Fishers by the Angel of independence so I walked 20 min to it , upon arriving the receptionist locked basic hospitality skills and seem displeased that it was only me so I said Table for one ? ( there are no tables for one now ) Can I get something to go ( to go will take too long ) next ! I insisted and waited so I got a table seems like table for one is frown upon, even the the server look disappointed, the seafood soup was very very good, the vuelve a la vida not so good very little seafood, I also had Seafood parrillada (seafood fajitas ) a bit of a mess again very little seafood the bits of fish wheels mushy and sticky lots and lots of vegetables. I left 80% uneaten. I went the second time thinking this eas a fluke ! Meet the same situation plus starter to rain. So no I did not had a not a good time. The only thing I can conclude is that the seafood soup is good. Im not sure about the rest. And the darn music is just too too LOUD ! Its very hard to carry a conversation. Anyone would had to yelled to talk, not too good for spreading COVID Suggestions Concentrate on serving good fresh food ( good food don’t need to much flash music and shiny objects ) Better host training Quicker service )15 minutes wait for soup ? And I had to ask for it a second time. Turn the tunes down man ! I want to eat and talk not dance and rave and set up a group of smaller tables for couples and individuals. I walked back to my hotel picked up seafood at a local cart vendor. $150 pesos was just as good Nothing extraordinary like this restaurant as food concern..
