Cibeles Gran Café — Restaurant in Mexico City

We visited this place for brunch, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The food was disgusting, but thankfully, the portions were small, so at least we didn’t have to suffer through too much of it.

The service was just as bad. It took an entire hour to get a waffle, which I eventually canceled. Despite this, the waffle still appeared on the bill. Fortunately, they did remove the charge after I pointed that out.

To top it off, the waiters' clothes were dirty and unpresentable, which only added to the overall unpleasant experience.

I definitely won’t be coming back to this place. It was a bad...

amazing! Mexican and other foods, great coffees and teas and the orange juice is amazing! (and very fair prices)

I tried: cappucino cafe bombon (pure love!) espresso Chai tea Chai latte Horchata espresso (great and not too sweet!)

Food (and all plates looked so nice!) Chilaquiles de la casa (it was great, just too much) Huevos colorados (would like to eat it again) Fruta (it was a big plate full of fruit, well worth) Wafle de platano con nutella (perfect banana, and added some strawberries, pecan nuts, beautiful presentation)

Fantastic little brunch spot! We visited around 11am on a sunday and didn’t need a reservation or need to wait for an available table. Wide selection of drinks and food. Including milk alternatives for coffee. I got an oat milk latte and the pesto eggs. It was seasoned perfectly and the was the perfect serving size for one. My partner got an americano and fruit plate and said it was great.

Very kind staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Comfortable and cozy space....
