If you are looking for a speakeasy/bar with great drinks and the true ‘speakeasy’ hidden entrance - look no further than Sod! When you enter you are put in an “escape room” of sorts, where you have to listen to the clues and figure out how to open the hidden door that leads you to the bar!! This added an exciting spin to getting access to the bar. My friend and I went to grab drinks after dinner, so I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try their food… But they have a wide range of cocktails to choose from, and I was really happy with the Mezcal based cocktail that I ordered. Great for date night, big groups, and special occasions.

This was a recommendation from another restaurant. I loved the decor and the food was delicious. Middle Eastern fusion. I absolutely loved the space. The decor was unexpected, the service was magnificent. Couple of things to note: Entering can seem gimmicky. You are led into a puzzle room where you are given clues in order to gain entry into the restaurant, but was actually fun. Other thing, they only sell wines by the bottle, I can easily drink a bottle myself, but sometimes all I want is a glass...in those moments, you can go with cocktails or water.

This place is top 3 in Mexico City! The drinks are amazing, the workers are super nice and really want you to enjoy the full experience, especially Alex, the waiter. There is also an Escape Room before you go up to the bar and it is a great experience. The door is locked at the bottom, but they will come down to let you in after you check in as they are preparing for the full experience. They even walk you down when you leave. Great...
