I had an amazing breakfast at Frëims, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in Mexico City now! We sat outside, soaking in the perfect weather, which added such a great vibe to the meal. The chilaquiles with green salsa and two eggs on top were absolutely delicious – the salsa had just the right kick, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The salmon bagel was a total standout, packed with a generous amount of fresh salmon, paired with a crisp salad and a tangy vinaigrette that tied it all together. The Bloody Marys were a highlight – so impressive! They came with olives, bacon, and pickled onions, rimmed with black salt, striking the perfect balance of spice and refreshment. It was like a meal in a glass! Our waitress was super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without missing a beat. The whole experience was fantastic, from the vibrant outdoor seating to the flavorful food and drinks. Frëims nailed it, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area....

Coasting on its past reputation?
I think so.
One of my poached eggs was raw. My breakfast potato’s were also under done. The English muffin was a gooey mess. I guess they can’t be bothered to toast it before they cover it in poblanos? Mistake.
I asked them to make a very hot latte? It was dish water tasting luke warm crap…for $65p.
I know that likely any kind of mimosa will be too sweet - so I ordered an extra glass of Prosecco. Took almost 45 minutes to get that… so I didn’t drink my mimosa with my food. #firstworld problems #fresa BUT this place is supposed to have good food and good service.
Food looks fine - but it was about a 6.5 out of 10 for both dishes and the service took it down to a 6. No one will ever ask you about your meal here. They don’t care cause the suckers keep on coming.
Well not me anymore. Third and...
Read moreI have visited this place over the past three years many times for coffee, brunch, and lunch, and overall like the ambience both for working and having a leisurely time. The service is usually good unless it’s packed (weekends) and there is long wait ion weekends 10:30-1:30.
COFFEE/BEVERAGES: they have a great barista and a good selection of juices. Highly recommended .
BRUNCH: my least favorite part is their brunch. It’s basically what you find elsewhere and not much innovation. Also some of the regular dishes are not the best.
LUNCH: much better more diverse options including bowls, sandwiches, etc. but my experience with different dishes have been hit or miss. Last time I had a burger and it was not properly cooked.
Pan dulce: a notable mention of their pastry that come from a great bakery and...
