La Esquina del Té — Restaurant in Mexico City

This place is a vibe. It’s cute, it’s on a corner and it’s a place I want to have intimate and vulnerable conversations with interesting people. This tea place would be my new night out hang out place instead of drinking alcohol and screaming at each other over loud music.

They have a great selection of teas (herbal is what I like) and the staff are amazing. They helped me learn about their blends and experience the fragrance before making a choice. They can do cold and hot teas. The temperature of the tea was really great for me-I like it hot!

I did not get to sit and drink the tea as I took it with me, but this is a place to hang out and read a book, talk, and just take in the beautiful...

I'm always on the lookout for a fabulous tea shop, especially in a place where tea is more challenging to find.

I passed this charming spot in Condessa and the abundance of tea caught my eye.

The server recommended a green tea that was very flavorful when I asked for a suggestion.

I ordered the tea and got a cookie at the counter and after paying, the iced tea was brought out to me at one of the outside tables.

There were a few seats inside as well.

The tea was very good and perfectly steeped and the cookie was even better than it looked, flavorful, but not sweet.

I'll definitely be back to this charming corner cafe for a morning or afternoon...

¡LADRONES! Cobraron de más.

Pedimos un té verde $80 (precio que no fue informado antes), un té chai $55 y un panque de $70 y nos cobraron $270 pesos!!! Al notarlo preguntamos cuando había salido casa producto y la respuesta del chico fue que uno de los te era más caro y al pedir el ticket el chico dijo que no lo tenía. Pagamos y nos fuimos pero se nos hizo muy raro la cantidad por lo que volvimos al lugar a pedir expresamente el ticket con los precios de cada producto. Está vez el chico solo nos dio los ticket de pago pero no nos dio el ticket con cada precio. Al ver el ticket claramente sobre la caja lo exigimos y nos dimos cuenta que nos habían cobrado dos galletas de 55 pesos que no pedimos y que además a ese total le agregaron IVA. (en la carta los precios ya incluyen el IVA)

Finalmente el chico solo nos entregó $40 pesos en efectivo, pero aún así no compensa todo lo extra cobrado.

Debíamos haber pagado solo $205 pero pagamos $270.

REVISEN SUS CUENTAS EN EL LUGAR

El chico claramente sabía lo que había hecho y al comienzo intento justificarlo, si no fue porque nos devolvimos no nos hubiéramos dado cuenta.
