EDIT: Owner replied saying there is only one barista, when there have been two different people in the place: a girl with colored hair and the rude guy. My story makes perfect sense, but probably one of them is not "barista" and just "serving" the coffee.

Pleasant looking place and the coffee is not the best, but isn't bad in quality. The guy barista shames you into leave a tip despite you take your coffee to go, the girl is friendly and attentive though. During COVID-19 lock down, they were still allowing people to gather outside and enter without face cover, then suddenly after the government lifted a few restrictions, they were requesting you cover your face and denying service to whoever didn't wear a mask... Funny thing, it was the guy serving that time this happened, I personally avoid the place when I see he is there as I don't wish to take my coffee with a shot of...

The coffee was great and the croissant was amazing. The place needs to be cleaner. There was a wastebasket placed by the door that I tripped over twice because both times someone's dog was sniffing / eating the trash. The case with the croissants had 4 bees in there (I counted). The bathroom's toilet paper wasn't on the roll holder but next to the sink and the trash needed to be emptied. The back had empty plates / mugs from people that ate and left on all tables on the wall closest to the bathroom. The suede booth in the back had hairs and stained food on it. Gross.

No fault to the women working there. From the time I came to the time I left (~2 hours) there were customers back-to-back. I think a 3rd person needs to be hired for the mornings to keep the...

As others have mentioned the service here was terrible. The staff is clearly bitter the shop has become completely overrun by Americans. Ordered my drink and it never came, went back and asked if I should wait at the front or at my seat. I tried asking in Spanish and stumbled over a few words so switched to English and the 2 baristas laughed at me and said we don’t speak English here but we’ll bring it to you. Waited 15 more minutes and my drink never came so I just left. I get being frustrated with the number of tourists in your store but there’s no need to be rude when I was...

Quentin has definitely some of the best coffee you can get in Mexico City, however, be prepared to spend more than usual, for example, an oatmilk latte can get to almost 100 pesos if you include the tip, I won’t call this overpriced since it’s absolutely worth it! Their pastries are also amazing, chocolate babkas -available on weekends- are at the top of my list. Baristas are always willing to provide best service and are super fluent in English. In summary, if you are a coffee lover, come to this or any of their other locations and give it a try, it’s a must ☕️

I want to give this place 5 stars; however, the three times I’ve stopped by, (1) the baristas have been so rude and dismissive. I’m even ordering in Spanish, so they can’t be annoyed by the fact that I’m a tourist. (2) ordered a drink, for non-takeout, and they bring me a to-go cup. (3) barista realizes they made a mistake and offered to switch into a glass cup, only to find that the glass was 1/4 full. Prior to this experience, the 1st and 2nd day my glass was more than 1/2 full. Overall, I’ve had a discouraging customer experience, but the coffee is great.

The « Carajillo » is as delicious as everyone has said. Obviously not your daily cup of joe, but perfect for a late breakfast/brunch treat on the weekends. I am not a connoisseur of espresso martinis, but wonder if it is a close cousin? The baristas were super nice, patient and quick. Not a huge selection of pastries, but noticed another client had a quiche which I wish I would have ordered. Space-wise, it feels cramped although I was easily able to find a seat. Kudos for attention to the design details: the small black marble tables are to die for.
