It is a marvel of Mexico City with tradition and gastronomical degree. Either the menu or buffet this remains a tremendous flavor experience beginning with the Spanish dishes from Galicia coast and the Mexican seafood especialities. Octopus in all its varietes is perhaps one of the best in town, specially Pulpo a la Gallega, but don't be shy and try the rest of dishes. Nougat and Vanilla ice cream are probably the best in Mexico City, simply perfect. Affordable with quaint atmosphere and well located makes this an optimal choice. Buffet is almost unbelievable from its variety and the amazing schedule on weekends, from noon to almost 8 pm. Sunday is really crowded so be prepare to wait in line however wait worts at all. In addition one of the high points is the music environment either the Bolero strings or the Jarocho band which is another fantastic piece of the fine moment you can have in Casa Gallega.

Great place for dinner! I've been wanting to eat Paella for days and finally found a place that had it. Right after ordering they brought me some appetizers, mainly garlic bread, baguette and totopos (as well as something packages that I didn't open) with a red dip with cheese and veggies. Really delicious! The Paella was heavenly. Everything tasted great, the rice, peppers, sausage, meat, mussels, oysters, prawns. It was very satisfactory to eat with my hands. The service was also exceptional, they kept coming to replace the little plate with discarded pieces, probably 4-5 times. They really put in the effort. The cappuccino was also good. Overall a very pleasant experience with a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely coming back here some time, can recommend.

If you're looking for a typical Mexican cantina, then look no further. This place is not as renowned as some of the other famed establishments, but it can hold its own when it comes to food, drink and polite and attentive meseros. The have a huge buffet spread every day of the year for only MX$ 276. But if you want to slowly enjoy the full range of Mexican flavors, then you need to get there well before 8 pm because that's when they begin hauling it all away. Definitely try this hidden gem.

Galician cuisine at its finest. From the Paella to the slow braised veal every single dish is a wholesome experience. The top dishes to get from the 30+ buffet are those with seafood in them; although you can try the meat based platters. It’s a family classic ( at least for myself and my parents) . Whenever they have Baja clams i like to take a dozen or more and prepare them Mazatlan style with chopped onion, parsley , lemon, 12 spice sauce and jalapeños. If you like seafood and Spanish style dishes this locale is a must; and if you’ve never tried it you should go get the buffet; you might get gladly surprised by the calamari or the fish quesadillas they serve. I’d give 10 stars but 5 is the top. If you think i overextended this isn’t even describing the quality nor the variety there...
