Randomly found this place on Google and it did not disappoint. The first day we got tamales wrapped in banana leaf for $27 pesos. The salsa verde was very good and not too spicy. I preferred it over the roja. Tamales were super soft, buttery and fun to eat on the benches outside. The next day we came back and tried the chilaquiles with verde, cream, and onion. The SAUCEEE was the best I’ve had. I just wished I dressed up the chilaquiles more by ordering a fried egg and a portion of chicken. Highly highly recommend trying this place out! They also accept visa.

The best chilaquiles and tamales in Mexico City!! Family-run by an adorable couple. Super friendly, despite our difficulties with Spanish. We've been coming here every morning now. The chilaquiles con huevo with a combination of both sauces (Verde and Adobo) is fantastic!! I love their Salsa Verde. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a small counter-serve spot, but there are a few benches out front where you can sit and eat. The banana leaf tamale with chicken and salsa verde is also fantastic!!

Was craving tamales and found this place near me, it was so delicious and affordable. They only had tamal hoja de maiz (verde, rajas) when I went, I want to go back for the Oaxacan tamales next time wrapped in banana leaf. Between verde and rajas, I liked verde more cause it had the chicken. The rajas one has cheese and veggies I think. Each tamales was HUGE and I was already super full after one and exploding after 2.
