The cocktails were decent and my server was very attentive and nice, but I was majorly put off by the hostess. I made a reservation for 2 in advance for lounge seating, and when I came in, the hostess gave me the worst booth in the house that was located right next to the door, which was open, and a huge speaker that was blaring music. I asked if I could sit at another booth because of how loud it was, and she told me all the other booths (including the specific one I asked to be seated at) were reserved.

First of all, all the booths in the lounge were identical and seated the same number of people, so what difference would it have made if I were to have been seated somewhere else? Second, I made a reservation so I know fully well that it wasn’t possible to reserve specific tables. Third, I was literally the only customer in the entire establishment at that time. And even when I left, the booth I had requested was empty and only one other party was sitting in the lounge area.

It was really rude of the hostess and I honestly don’t know what her problem was. I am spending money at your bar, which is not exactly cheap by the way, so the least you can do is try to make a pleasant experience. It’s a shame because I live right by this bar and would’ve loved to regularly visit it, but with how I was treated by the hostess, I’m not so sure that I will.

I don’t like to give a 2-star review when the food and drinks were decent and my server was nice, but the vibe and overall experience was unfortunately tainted for me before I even ordered anything because of this hostess. I hope this bar will start taking customers’ preferences into consideration...

We stopped in here because of the charm. 😀 Eclectic and comfortable looking.🛋️

Unique drinks🍹 and food items. We arrived early before it got busy. At that time the service was very attentive💁🏻‍♂️

It was difficult to choose from the menu and I was given a suggestion which we ordered. I decided to get an Old Fashioned after being told they could make one🫢 🤔 We were not happy with this first pair of drinks. 😕 My Old Fashioned was simply a glass with a nice logo cube and bourbon. There was no mix or cherries or orange.🤨 I do not know why they told me they could make one?🤷🏻‍♂️ t The other drink was too sweet. 😣We ordered the bowl of Olives 🫒which did not come with a little dish to put the pits in so we asked. There were some very tiny bits of cheese🧀 in with the olives which should have been much larger squares. The truffle oil was tasty but there was no bread or crackers.

For the second round I decided to go with a glass of red wine.🍷 It was ice cold! 😣 We went with the tuna 🐟sashimi plate for this round and that was very good! 😋

Initially the couch area🛋️ appeared comfortable but was not. 🤦🏻‍♂️It has a lot of pillows that are difficult to situate to make it more comfortable 🤨

The bathroom was nice and clean. 🚾

It's been a while since I was not happy with a random choice but this was expensive and I did not...

The design and atmosphere of the place are definitely appealing — modern, stylish, and inviting. We tried four cocktails: two from their signature menu, a classic Negroni, and one custom creation based on my craving for maracuya (passionfruit). Unfortunately, the first signature cocktail, which was supposed to feature lemon and lemongrass, fell flat. The flavors were barely noticeable, and the drink tasted watered down — overall, a big letdown. My friend had the kimchi cocktail, which she said tasted good, but the smell was quite off-putting. On a more positive note, the Negroni was excellent — well-balanced and exactly what you'd expect from a classic. The maracuya-based cocktail was better than the first, but still didn’t deliver anything memorable in terms of flavor. Overall, the cocktails didn’t live up to the creative presentation or pricing. For the cost, I expected more depth and uniqueness in the drinks. Great ambiance, but the bar experience didn’t...

Amazing find! We were roaming the streets and a friend google restaurant near us and we stumbled upon “Long Story Short”. W First to say, they have wine that is less than 800pesos a bottle. Good wine at a good price. The food, we can’t say enough about the food … the burgers, they call them sliders are generous size for a slide. The taste was out of this world, juicy and full flavor. The papas… an ingenious combination of sauce, spices and potatoes. The beet hummus was so fresh it tasted like the beets were fresh it tasted like they were just picked from the garden. The atmosphere was hip & chic with great music. The only, only thing I would suggest to improve would be to lower the brightness of the lights in the evening. EDIT: they have adjusted the lighting is it’s absolutely AMAZING!! What a great atmosphere. This will be a place that we MUST visit each time we come to Mexico City.

I'd summarize this place as a tourist trap. Cocktails are as expensive as in London and as half as good. Negroni is supposed to be the house special and when I asked for one, the girl told me they only do a ceirtan number per day so they were sold out... AT 7 PM! The rest of the cocktails in the menu seem fun on paper but are made with artificial syrups and juices and it shows. At the end, the best one was the deconstructed margarita they offer on arrival. Service is good tho.
