Boooooy oh boy, that was sooo goood!

As shown in the photos we had those 4 dishes, the sopa Lima which is a lemon soup, quite soft, simple, well seasoned, with plenty of chicken breast, nothing out of the ordinary but still tasty. The tamal, first time trying the Mexican version, very tasty. The panucho de lechón was very good, juicy and a bit sweet. The real star of today's show is none other than the Tecolotes de setas pibil, we are (wife and I) by no means vegetarian or vegan (but we do try to consume less meat out of respect for the ongoing global situation), and as a meat lover I assure you that if you give their mushroom Tecolotes dish a try you will not know what disappointment is. Dayuuum just thinking about it, I am craving having another couple tecolotes de setas. This nasty dish can make any meat lover doubt their orientation.

Can't speak for the rest of the menu since we only had those 4 items but honestly speaking if you can make a veggie dish like this I don't think there will be any issues with rest.

We personally gave our regards to the chef, who after having a small break, cleared our table as she was returning to her duties.

TL;DR: Pay this restaurant a visit and ask anything / everything on their menu.

P.S. Their spicy sauces were very...

A hidden gem offering delicious Yucatecan cuisine with attentive and friendly service.

The restaurant itself is charming and welcoming. Upon arrival, I was seated inside and promptly given a menu. However, placing an order took some time as there was only one server managing the entire place. I ordered a Sopa de Lima and two Cochinita tacos.

While the wait for my food was noticeable, the Sopa de Lima was absolutely outstanding—easily one of the best I’ve had. It was perfectly balanced, incredibly flavorful, and was better than the versions I’ve tried in Mérida. The Cochinita tacos arrived shortly after and were solid as well and the onion that is typical with the cochinita was delicious. That said, I couldn’t help but notice most customers ordering panuchos, which looked slightly more enticing. Even so, the tacos left me satisfied.

Prices were very reasonable, and the lone server impressed me with their ability to handle every table with such friendliness and attentiveness. Despite the slower pace, the excellent food and service made the...
