CDMX Eats 2024 #52, Mariscos #4: I came here due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews but left underwhelmed.

We ordered a Pacifico $37, Negra Modelo, pescadilla $22, empanada camaron $40, and aguachile atun (habanero y naranja) $180.

The pescadilla is not what we were expecting, but it was pretty good. We meant to order a filetito 😅 The empanada camaron was good, but it wasn't the best we've had (that honor goes to La Ostionería in Del Valle). Lastly, the aguachile atun was a bit smaller than we were hoping and tasted a little different than we expected.

None of the food was bad, but none of it was great. Atmosphere was pretty standard/average with outdoor seating in a nice part of Hipódromo/Condesa. Service was very good. Our server was very attentive, helpful, and personable.

I would personally recommend Marlindo as a better seafood alternative. While it costs a bit more, I think the price is justified and I prefer the food and ambiance. For a cheaper option that I also prefer (though it's a bit further), I'd recommend La Ostionería in Mercado Lázaro Cárdenas in Del Valle. The prices were a little lower, the portions were larger, and it was...

Very good sea food place in Condesa. Fresh and quality food!

My friend lives around the corner. She took me there for lunch and it was a great discovery.

Thy have weekly menus and also menu dishes, tacos, quesadillas and different short of sea food plates.

Specially good are the empanadas, and the tacos. The size of the tacos is big! Also the guacamole with fried salmon skin as dip is really interesting.

We paid 420 pesos for 2 people eating almost...

Outstanding. Every item we tried was fresh and delicious: fish & the shrimp tacos, seafood soup, shrimp & the tuna tostadas, but our favorite was the empanada. With drinks and dessert, our bill was only $200 pesos per person.... a great value for what we received. Marea Bonita is not a big place, so be prepared to wait during busy hours, but it will...
