The pastries are extremely delicious but not worth the horrible service coupled with high prices. On one occasion, they completely forgot my coffee order. I watched as several patrons who were behind me in line received their items. After 20 minutes I finally inquired. The girl who rung me up pretended to not remember me even though she commented on my avocado mask and thanked me for my tip. Another time, the outside of the cup was completely covered in coffee. The person who made it didn’t bother to wipe it down with a towel and, naturally, it spilled. I tried for days to remove the stain on my shorts but it never budged. I asked that same person for a side of cream, and she refused to sell or give me any, saying she wasn’t allowed to because it wasn’t in their point of sale system, even though they had it. Seriously? In a coffee shop? Now I’m waiting to find out if they can sell me a baguette while they continue to serve other customers in line. It’s been 15 minutes so far. Sadly I won’t be coming back. The desserts are so good but it’s just not worth the depletion of energy.
Update: I waited 25 minutes then left. No one ever told me what was happening, even after I asked someone else to check (the person who originally went to ask about the baguette...

I ordered/evaluated: Double shot: undrinkably overextracted Flat white with oat: the overextracted espresso ruined it Choco menta: decent presentation, but missed on quality of cocoa powder. Matcha miel: weak matcha Brownie cheesecake: only thing I kjnd of liked
I would be more forgiving if this place wasn’t 3x the cost of a normal cafe. You are paying strictly for the branding and ambiance.
Normie recommendation: yes, strictly as a date spot for ambiance Daily cafe? Nope Foodie...

The bacon and egg breakfast special and the overnight oats. The pancakes are crazy fluffy served with creme fraiche and a type of pumpkin cream that tastes like pumpkin apricots. Very good. The egg bacon special was eggs, bacon, potatoes, some sourdough toast and hummus with a chili sauce over the top. Very good and flavorful. The overnight oats had good fruit in it, lots of seeds. ...
