I desperately wanted to love this place but I can’t. The atmosphere was fine - the service was good but our entrees came out at least five minutes apart. They started by bring us dried choclo and a salsa amarillo with tortilla chips?? OK - sort of Peruvian with a nod to Mexico. Our appetizer of Papa ala Huancaina- edible but not great - lacked some flavor and very skimpy with the egg and olive portions. My friend’s Bistec ala Pobre was excellent. I was so hopeful that my Lomo Saltado, which came out 5 minutes after the Bistec, was going to be worth the wait but, alas, it was not.
