Don't expect the same "dining experience" at this PF Changs as you have received in the U.S.
We ate there on the evening of 12/15/16. Same great food, and the service was good, except for a game apparently being played with respect to the rice. I had to ask repeatedly for rice and, then, grouch and complain when very little was brought. It seemed like they were trying to not serve rice at all with the entries and, when they did, serve as little as they could. Unlike in the U.S., where the server asks you whether you want white or brown rice when you are ordering, this subject is not brought up by the server here.
When I complained to the manager, he didn't have much to say. Confirmed my suspicion that management was behind this. He did make a conciliatory offer to buy us a round of coffees. Then, he screwed up that order, and later insinuated that we ordered in error. Poor customer service attitude.
We will have a lunch for a party of 16 on the 24th. PF Changs was my first choice. Not now. Am so glad that I checked them out first!
Tried to complain on the PF Changs U.S. website. They only accept comments about U.S. locations. I guess they don't want to know about problems in international venues.
This might have been some one-time incident, but I know I will never try another PF Changs...
Read moreBad service, before we ordered I said to the waitress, very clearly, that we were very hungry and that we wanted the food very hot, which did not received even when she took it to warm it up, without need, cause I said since the very beginning, the second time the rice tasted like burned oil. Finally we ordered a coffee and she never offered milk/cream or sugar, again, we had to ask for something that should be part of the service. Such a shame, now more than ever, service...
