I don’t generally leave reviews unless I’ve had an incredible experience at a restaurant, and without a doubt Reina Lupita is the most deserving of any review I’ve given. If you’re looking for large portions, great prices, incredibly tasty food, and amazing service, you need to go to Reina Lupita. Because I loved this place so much, I came by over 10+ times during my (long) trip to CDMX and have tried almost everything on the menú, and would recommend everything I had (and they have something for everyone, vegan, vegetarian, meat lover, etc). The daily soups each are as rich as the last, the aguas frescas extremely fresh, the quesadillas tasty (try the tinga de pollo!), and sandwiches and platos fuertes full with flavor (they could honestly charge three times the price for most dishes). If you can only pass by one or two times, try the the caramelized pork sandwich or the cream of spinach milenesa (schnitzel). Was astounded by the quality and flavor. Not to mention the quality of service. Over my many visits, I got to know all of the employees, as well as the owner Mauricio. Although Mauricio owns the restaurant, every single day he’s out working as the sole waiter, hustling to make sure everyone has a good experience. He’s extremely kind, and you can tell that he cares deeply about his customers and employees. Every time I’m there, neighbors pass by, excited to see Mauricio, give him a fist bump, and sit down to eat. Reina Lupita is a staple in the neighborhood, and any trip to Condesa would not be complete without passing by.

I've been on the hunt for a place like Reina Lupita for ages! This spot offers healthy and delicious meals with some of the best service I have ever experienced. From the moment I walked in, the owner greeted me warmly, took my order, and maintained a smile throughout my visit, checking on me and other patrons to ensure that we were enjoying our meals. I decided to have a salad with three ingredients, topped with chicken and a delicious avocado dressing. The salad was divine, and the price was more than reasonable. Although I usually drink water, I couldn't resist trying one of Reina Lupita's aguas frescas. With several intriguing options available, I chose the "anti-cholesterol" drink, and to my delight, the owner even asked about my sugar preference - bonus points for that! Reina Lupita is the type of establishment I've been looking for in Mexico City - a haven for health-conscious people who want a nutritious alternative to the city's delicious cuisine. If I could give it more than five stars, I certainly would!

An excellent place, especially for those who want their food to be authentically Mexican yet healthy. The salads are incredibly tasty and you can design them yourself, basically. Very healthy drinks made of natural fruit and right in your presence. I've known this place since 2019 and am very happy that it survived the economic downturn. Strongly recommended!

One of my favorite places to eat in CDMX! We spent over 2 months in the city and Reina Lupita was our go to spot. I especially loved all the fresh ingredients and customizable bowls. The menu can be customized for vegetarians/vegans, without sacrificing taste (and none of the gross imitation meats that other vegan places have). My partner is a not vegan/veg, and he would go to Reina Lupita at least once a week and loved all the sandwiches, wok, pasta options. Try the agua frescas - the anticolesterol is the bomb. Also the alfajores (Argentine cookies) are AMAZING - just the cookies alone are worth a visit to this place. Lastly, Mauricio (the owner) and his team will welcome you as if you are part of their family. They are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a casual...
