Sal e Brasa — Restaurant in Mexico City

Scammed into buying a $200 bottle of wine after ordering a $40. 5 min after making our selection from the wine list they brought over four bottles to select from. Based on the recommendation we changed bottles. They did not tell us the new bottle was 5x more expensive! And we didn’t discover until the end of the dinner when we got the check. It really felt like a hustle as they were so friendly to us. But they took advantage of the language gap to trick us into buying one of the most expensive wines on offer. Expressed dismay upon receiving check and they offered 15% off the bill.

The service is top quality which is why I rated so high. I'd say the salad bar is the least favorite. The salad did not look fresh and the pasta was a bit overcooked. The meat selection is great and with a nice variety. I have been to several Brazilian steak houses and this was my least favorite only because of the salad bar unfortunately. En mi opinión, Sal e brasa es sin duda alguna el mejor restaurante de espadas brasileñas que he probado en CDMX.

Increíble ver todo lo que ofrecen en la barra fría. Es el primer restaurante de este estilo que conozco que tiene una amplia variedad de opciones para complementar la carne y eso que esta es la sucursal más pequeña.

A destacar: la crema de langosta. Es una delicia e ideal antes de comenzar con las carnes. Recomiendo mucho probar el cow boy, la picaña y el pulpo. Fueron mis favoritos.

Obviamente no podía falta la piña y el queso con miel, los cuales también valen la pena.

El servicio de todo el personal es impecable y, aparte de la increíble comida, el servicio también te da la sensación de querer regresar. Este lugar se acaba de convertir en mi top 1 de espadas brasileñas en CDMX.
