This is one of my favorite places to go for sushi in Mexico. I mostly recommend it because o it’s affordable prices and generous portions, not to mention, the menu is filled with numerous options so you never get bored. From actual rolls, to rice and tempura, they seriously have it all. You can easily go here many times without having the same thing twice. The only reason I’d give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service, while the waitress are always nice an pleasant, the food can take a while. If you’re going I would recommend the “Chirashi Rainbow”’rice, the “Temaki Tropical” sushi cones and the baby shrimp. The “dragón roll” “chirashi roll” , “spicy almond roll “ and the “green roll “ are also pretty good. For drinks, I would definitely recommend the sangria. This particular location is pretty because it’s on a very popular zone and it has a beautiful terrace , although finding parking during the weekend can be...
Read moreRUN!!! Went to this place, saw a lot of people I thought it's a good bet..I was completely wrong! We ordered pork belly ramen to start with. It was mediocre. Lacking with flavors of bone broth and bonito . Theirs is like Maggi seasoning with soy..not even a hint of garlic. We then ordered different specialty rolls...the flavors are THE SAME! Look at the photos I took. There was no Wasabi nor pickled ginger either. SOGGY RICE yet there's a little bit of uncooked portion in it. Not flavored with sushi vinegar either. I took one bite and I can't eat it. This place is BEYOND BAD..yet people around me are eating eat😳 I guess that's their palate for Japanese food in Mexico City? And why would you cook the salmon for your rolls???? I can't go back to this place. Sorry but not sorry. I'm a chef by profession and been to different places in Japan..I know my Japanese food. Hope this review helps the other gourmand and take...
Read more‼️ AVOID – FOOD POISONING ‼️
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. Arrived in CDMX on Monday and decided to start with a meal here given the thousands of reviews (some which in hindsight appear to be fake).
I was served sashimi that was noticeably room temperature—an immediate red flag I should not have ignored. Within hours, I was violently ill with severe food poisoning that is now into its fifth day.
Serving raw fish at improper temperatures is both careless and downright dangerous. I hope this review prevents others from going through what I did.
Avoid this place at all costs until they address their food...
