Teppan Grill — Restaurant in Mexico City

I arrived in Mexico City exhausted after a long flight, and luckily, I found Teppan Grill at the Hyatt Regency – an amazing experience!

I ordered the tuna roll, salmon roll, edamame, and ribeye steak tacos, and every bite was simply perfect. The quality of the fish was outstanding, the flavors were well-balanced, and the steak tacos were full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxing – exactly what I needed after my flight.

I have NO idea how this restaurant has so many good review’s because this was one of the worst I have been to here in the city. The decor was pretty, and the waitress did a good job at bringing drinks. But the ambience was nothing exciting. Most importantly, its EXTREMELY overpriced for what you receive, and the cook has minimal skills / food wasn’t very tasty and no show while cooking in front of you. The food was extremely low quality, nothing was fresh. We tried the ramen, steak, chicken, rice with meat and vegetable rice and all were terrible. Save your money and time, and go to another...

The quality of the ingredients is high. The taste is below average. The price is high for what they offer ( esp. In this area that is full of high end restaurant!). The portions are really small.
