Loved this place so much! Came with a group of 10 people for our last breakfast in CDMX, did not disappoint! Chef Alex’s new brunch cafe is another hit! His previous restaurant, Cocina Alba, was a favorite for a delicious and inspired dinner (or a curated wine) at a more than reasonable price. His new brunch cafe, XuXú, applies the same concept to brunch. I had a cold horchata alcoholic drink (actually 3!) that was addicting. 😕 Si vas para comer un tentempié está bien, las porciones son pequeñas y sin acompañamientos. Es un lugar pequeño con bancas de madera en la banqueta, muy a gusto. El menú es muy pobre, unas diez opciones solamente y no te dejes llevar por el nombre de los platillos ya que ofrecen birria y no lo es. Se trata de un trozo de pan con algo de carne encima y lo acompañan con un poquito de consomé. Los chilaquiles se presentan con tortilla para sopa y los molletes tipo Gourmet llevan jitomate cherry, unos dos jitomatitos para 4 mini rebanadas de pan blanco semi tostado. En general todo lo que sirven va sobre pan. El capuchino es del tamaño de un espresso. El sabor en general es decente sin llegar a rico, lo que sí está bien tanto en tamaño como en sabor es el chocolate que puede ser en agua o leche. Los precios son justos para la zona pero muy elevados por lo que sirven por ejemplo, la birria (rebanada de pan con tiritas de carne) más de $200; huevos rancheros sin complementos ni nada, $140. El concepto y servicio están bien, el sabor, porciones y precios no. Es pet friendly, tiene acceso a discapacitados y hay opciones...
