Food was great. Service not so much. Per the tattoo on his throat, our server , Luis, was very grounded. He realizes giving good service is not the most important thing in life and focuses on other things. We asked for the check three times, twice with our server and once with the hostess. After waiting a little while longer I went up to the front and paid. We left a cash tip that wasn't big. If we could've cashed out earlier I would have left a lot more. I'm sure whoever responds to these will apologize. No big deal but maybe your servers could act like they care more. Or maybe it's part of the hipster downtown vibe. I've waited tables for 20 years and when you live off tips, acting like you care goes along way.

There are plenty of reviews of how bad the service is. Wish I'd have read it more closely. We went to plenty of other restaurants where the service was top notch. I'm guessing this arrogant attitude comes from the management/ownership and trickles down to the staff.

Food wasn't great, it was mostly a tourist trap. We only went there as we had a little ones and our family friends did not want to venture out about 2 blocks away. If you don't mind, walking 1 block or 2 going north and you will find food and drinks half the price.

We ordered their house specialty sandwiches (stacy). Bread was stale for everyone, sandwiches were full of mustard not just a little mustard, it was dripping. When we mentioned that it had too much mustard, they asked if we wanted to order another sandwiches without mustard. No where in the menu it mentions mustard. Anyway I had myself and kids remove the mustard with a paper tower and had to order another sandwich without mustard for the youngest. Big disappointment for the amount of money we paid. We expected better.

My wife thinks they might have done the mustard thing intentionally; that's the vibe she got.

It is not longer what it used to be. Churros are not tasting like churros. Ordered a smoothie and got instead a weird mix that was not even blended. Guanabana pulp left at the bottom,complete ice chunks in the middle and at the top something unrecognizable and tasteless. When asking if that was a smoothie they first claim it was. When calling to let then know of the bad experience they said we ordered a special mix and that they had poured mineral water in the supposed smoothie. We informed them we ordered what was in their menu and did not make any "special" requests to modify a drink from their menu. Taking no responsibility for mistakes they made. It is really disgusting to know what they served us in that drink. Good thing we left the drink half way. Save your time and money go somewhere else, there are plenty of coffee and restaurants...
