El Faro Mariscos Nuevo Vallarta — Restaurant in Nayarit

The prices are outrageous for terrible food and the service is the worst out of everything. I sat there for 2 hours waiting for my food only to find out they never even put the order back in and then they had the audacity to tell me they would comp the drink as their way of apologizing only to then bring out my check and charge me for the drink after all. The chicken that came for my son was half Frozen still and cold. The margarita was the only thing that was decent but again overpriced and took forever to get any service. I will NEVER return. There are many other restaurants right around the same area they have much better prices than much better food with great service. Don't waste your time or money. There was literally nobody there when I went and there's a reason why. The two servers were sitting inside watching the soccer game and could care less about service. Absolutely delicious! A must try place!! We decided try this new restaurant ( new to us I should mention). It was amazing. We ordered 4 tacos for the 2 of us and they were all delicious. Our favourites were samurai and the taco Anaheim. We liked them so much we ordered 2 more! We probably didn’t need the extra but they were so good we couldn’t resist. We came from our hotel and discovered this hidden gem! Totally recommend if you’re looking for fresh and authentic seafood. The portions were perfect and the staff are very welcoming. The food was appropriately priced and it was genuinely the best tasting meal I had this week. I recommend the tostadas, aguas frescas, and the guava “pie”.
