This establishment had good reviews so we visited. Although the price of $20 USD for two breakfasts including coffee is fair the make up of the breakfasts left much to be desired. One serving had a total of 2 eggs on two tortillas and some salsa. The other had two eggs on two tortillas with some black beans. No potatoes, rice, refried beans, or taco chips or anything else were included. No condiments were present or offered. We had to ask for our beverages and also for refills. Bacon was supposed to be included in one of the entrees but was only brought much later in the meal and only after I reminded the server of its omission. Nothing special here in either service, food or the presentation. I ended up getting a couple of great tacos from a near by street vendor to cap off the meal. For $1.25 they were much more filling than either of our breakfasts were. We wanted to try a dinner as well but...
Read moreWe are there twice and everyone was very happy with their food and drinks! Do NOT waste your time or money on resort food! The service and the food here is second to none! The chef and staff are all amazing, speak English and Spanish and are super attentive! They truly care about making your visit a delight. Their main bartender/mixologist is the chefs son and he puts on a good show as well as offers top notch recommendations. They have a wide variety on their menu including a few vegan choices. Great micheladas and margaritas. Absolutely order the guacamole and if you are a fan of fish they have a platter that will easily feed four people! Also order desert if you get the chance, my favorite was a gelatin that looked very similar to flan but had a great flavor and...
Read moreThree of us came here for dinner and it was a relaxing meal on their patio overlooking the marina. Their freshly made tortilla chips, beans and salsa were yummy. I ordered the fish tacos (delicious) and the other two ordered the mole enchiladas. NOTE re: the mole sauce: it is SWEET. Not bad if you like your mole sauce sweet, but the two in our party prefer their mole sauce to taste not as sweet and chocolate-y. The main entrees do take a little while to come out so you may want to order an appetizer or two if really hungry. And just as others stated, Juan, the owner, came to us at the end of our meal to ensure everything went well, which we appreciated. He seems to really care about his patrons and their feedback, as is evident with his thoughtful response to...
