Absolutely excellent restaurant in Nuevo Vallarta. The owner is incredibly kind, gracious and makes delicious homemade Italian and Lebanese food. The food is great of top quality, fresh, tasty, and you can tell it is made with love. This resto is far superior to the over packed and oversold Eddie’s. The best of the restaurants in the harbour. Wonderful service. We received the best panna cotta I’ve ever tried on the house (and we’re half Italian and have had many in Italy, so this is a high compliment). The carbonara is also homemade (as is everything) and authentic, made with eggs and cheese, No cream, peppery and delicious. FOOD POISONING!!! I went to this restaurant last night with two friends, we all ordered different dishes and one of my friends got food poisoning. She has been sick all day and at one point we thought we would have to take her to hospital, she is still very unwell. I would avoid at all costs! There are plenty of other great options around that don’t cause 12+ hours of severe diarrhea and violent vomiting. Also, the service was terrible, when we asked for something e.g. pepper we would wait patiently and see the server 10 mins later doing something else, so we had to go in and get it ourselves, this happened 3 separate times. We were so hot and sweaty by the time we made it to the restaurant (after walking the beach from our hotel) and they closed the doors, turned on the fans, and cooled the place down for us! The Mediterranean and Italian restaurants are actually together and we each had Italian dishes. The food was spectacular. I had the penne pesto with chicken, one had the Mediterranean pesto and the other had the bolognaise. We each had wine and dessert as well and everything was so satisfying.
