Answering to MezzoGiorno: When you get a defensive attitude instead of an apology you know how bad a restaurant's customer servicd is and how dismissive their attitude is. My wife and I wrote the reviews together so there are no contradictory opinions. The point here is not the dessert. If you want to make this whole thing about it, is because you cannot answer to the other things we mentioned. Is such a shame that instead of accepting part of what we mentioned you decided to attack with your words saying lies as if we only cared about getting free stuff. I'm a professional doctor that could not care less about getting a free dessert at your place. What I do care is that you didn't give proper attention to your Mexican customers and the food you prepared for us was tasteless at best. And to make it clear. My wife ate most of her fish because she didn't want me to get upset for something like that n my own birthday. And if your waiter can recall, I didn't even finish half of my pesto pasta because of how bad it tasted. And the reason why we didn't change our meals was because they both tasted bad. We thought the rest of the menu might taste the same. That's why we didn't even bother at the moment.
The worst dinner I've had in years The pesto flavor was aweful. The fish was not fresh and we got sick. I really don't want to repeat myself so if you want to read my whole experience use...
Read moreLast night we had an 80th birthday party at this restaurant, nine people attended. Once we all sat down, the waiter came to ask what we wanted for drinks, he was extremely blunt and rude, One of the guest asked for a small sample of a wine she wanted, and he straight out said “ Why is “NO” We don’t give samples. Next he took our orders for food and when one of our guests went to give his order, he shook his hand in front of him, and said you just wait. Totally unacceptable. This is not our first time here, and we found the quality of food was not compatible with the prices they are charging. We asked if they could do separate bills he said, no, after reading on the menu the most they will do is two bills per table, which we understood, however, he would not do that. He said, only one bill per table. Of the nine people that were there nine stated they would never go back, they did not like the service they found the quality and portions of food were not adequate for the prices.we were very disappointed, as this was an 80th birthday party, and we thought we chose this restaurant carefully. The scenery is incredible, however, the experience was not good at all. So...
Read moreI brought my wife here for our wedding anniversary. It was fabulous. The staff was great. We were seated on a private patio table looking down onto the beach. Every seat is actually a good one; and on certain days they even have tables set up ON the beach for oceanside dinner service. The sunset behind the mountains is spectacular. The menu is full of delicious looking dishes ranging from classic Italian to Mediterranean seafood and some local specialties. They have great specialty drinks. The bread is good. The food we ate was well portioned, perfectly prepared, served hot and timely. Our waiter was actually from Portland and knew his wine quite well. I can't say it was cheap, but not as much as I would have spent at any nice restaurant in the states. For what you get, it's a great deal. The setting with white tablecloths nice serveware and a courteous staff and yummy food made for a great evening. Do not hesitate a second to go here. It's is one of the best restaurants in Bucerias. Also you must...
