LOOOOVE this spot, next level alt fish and shrimp tacos are fabulous. Even if you "don't do fried" get the fried ones and share because they are absolutely massive. Broccoli has no business near tacos in my opinion so the grilled ones are out for me. Aguachile isn't great, it's very odd, closer to ceviche but still not even that. The guacamole is tasty and the sweet potato fries were such a hit! What I love most after the fried fish tacos is the amazing craft cocktails. Don't laugh but the Pina Coladas are just SOOOOOOO good, they're craft made. Beautiful setting and lovely staff. Make it a point to get a meal here at least once. There's another location in Zicatela if the san floor isn't your thing.

Stopped here for lunch because we were recommended it. We got the guacamole, and two types of tacos: grilled squid & grilled fish. The squid was tough which was disappointing. The tacos also came with grilled veggies in it which may be what some people enjoy but we found it unnecessary and unusual. The guacamole was good. We also got Micheletas which were tasty, I particularly like how they asked how we would like them made - which we haven’t had happen before. The service was great but the food was so so. It is right on the beach and a really nice atmosphere.

Amazing service at my beachside chaise right at the surf. Great location. The 200 peso minimum for the front row of seats was very reasonable. Sitting in the shade in the ocean breeze for several hours receiving cold drinks from our kind waiter was so relaxing. The chilaquiles and tacos (what arrived turned out to be taquitos- hmm) were decent, too. Walk back through the lovely garden to the restroom (bring your own paper.) Several vendors and massage providers came by, but they were not pushy at all. Love the chill vibe at La Punta.

I only put 4 stars for service because they don't have wifi which reduces my ability to eat there. Otherwise I would eat there daily. So many places in PE Feel like a huge ripoff, but not this place. Incredible food that is spot on in execution, flavor and freshness every time. The staff is a bit overworked but our amazing waitress was running laps to get to every table. She had the best vibe too, a tall thin woman with a great work ethic. The food was so fresh, ample in servings and well thought flavors. I have esten here 3 times and have been thrilled each time. If they had wifi I would be there daily. So so so good. For the food quality the prices are very fair and I leave...

Drink was good. Service initially very slow. Ordered fish tacos but given shrimp. I have a shrimp allergy. Server was surprisingly nasty with me when I pointed out mix up. He insisted I ordered shrimp which is silly because that is certainly not something I’d ever order. He raised his voice and other tables were staring. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. I asked to pay for my drink so I could leave but they demanded I pay for the tacos I never got. Really odd and hostile interaction considering it could have been a very easy fix. Later disputed with my credit card company and was reimbursed...
