Here's why i'm leaving a 2 star. The locals serving coffee are amazing people but they aren't baristas! There are also many great reviews here that show up from 2 years ago when i'm sure that the baristas were different. For context, I'm a coffee/lover/geek Vs a casual drinker. Cafebre has an amazing atmosphere but is likely one of those places where an amazing barista/owner has left less experienced staff in charge :( The latte was average, burnt espresso that doesn't blend well with the milk. It looks good but the blend doesn't work. A friend's mocha was the sweetest thing on planet earth & the hot chocolate also. I really hope this review is useful for those of you that have a deep love for coffee like me (clearly my friends drinking chocolate are less coffee purist) . If you are a casual drinker then it may not matter much. Equally if you are the owner/chief barista so to speak this standard is not speciality, it's middle of the road plus some nice latte art. Well worth finding a truly passionate lover/barista & I'm sure the reviews will go up. For the sake of not leaving a review like this one I gave feedback to the staff, but as they often do in Mexico they took It...

Read moreWas very excited about visiting this place because of their specialty coffee. Tried their cold brew and it was good. Wanted to come back to try their other coffees but their tiramisu made me think twice.
The tiramisu was a real disappointment. It was nothing like a real tiramisu. The mascarpone didn’t taste like mascarpone should (had no acidity), there was surprisingly little coffee flavour (considering we’re at a coffee roaster) and they seemed to be using regular bread(??) for the tiramisu. Taste wise it had basically nothing in common with a tiramisu. Either they should change the recipe or change the name of...
