Stumbled upon this tiny tavern on a Thursday night at 11pm. The really bad music drew me in and I was so glad I peeked in. The place was packed, but everyone was having such a great time singing along with the unnamed trio. The very friendly bartender approached me and offered me a choice of over a dozen different mezcals. The music improved immensely after a shot of mezcal and a beer. Turns out this was the highlight of the evening after some very mediocre sets at other restaurants in the neighborhood. Loved this gem hidden in plain sight of a very touristy...

Awesome local cantina (Bar) full of locals. It consists of two small rooms, front and back. The front room has a bar. Bartenders come to your table and take your order. Most people drink beer or mezcal. You are served smalls snacks (nuts) along with your drinks. Our bartender was very nice and knowledgeable, she went over all the different types of mezcal they offer and helped us pick one. Espadin (Maguey espadin is the most commonly used Maguey in mezcal) is sort of a type of mezcal, which is the most commonly used in...

Unpretentious and welcoming corner bar. Small, but not crowded with many tables, making it even more pleasant. Very good service, and excellent michelada and snacks.

Decor is simple and atmospheric, with 1 wall full of portraits of famous actors and actresses of the golden years of cine in Mexico...and a second wall with photos showing drinking-related scenes from old famous...
