This place is a joke. Be warned. Seriously.
When you speak to the owner of the property and book an ocean front villa for two nights you assume you’d getting what you’ve paid for. Unfortunately they took our money and once we arrived, they messed up our dates, didn’t have a room and ended up putting us in a rusted old TP in their parking lot. We didn’t have access to the ‘resort’ after dinner and the gate was locked on us to even get into the main area. We paid over $200 Canadian a night for a TP in a parking lot in between those building fences and workers living on the other side. How is this a 4-star resort.
I’m warning you, please do not trust in this place. Save your money and go elsewhere.
We tried contacting the owner, as he mentioned he’d be there to introduce himself and welcome us to his town. He was a no show. No one could get in touch, and still haven’t heard from him. He vanished and took our money.
I want to show you just a few photos of what we paid for an ocean front villa for Valentine’s Day…
They say their an ‘eco resort’ but it’s not an eco resort you’d expect. It was so gross, rusted and dirty I didn’t feel clean at all. I didn’t know where to put my clothes when showering, don’t even think about taking your shoes off… and I felt like I would cut my hands on the rusted faucets at the bathroom sink.
Sorry resort, but not sorry for this review. I held off making this review, but I hope nobody goes through what we did and get...

The owner was awesome, very accommodating and friendly. Friday night is their DJ night. Good tunes, good food, good drinks, and can't beat the sunset view. There is an infinity pool and couches to lounge and hangout as well. Yes, they ask you to spend 500 pesos ($30USD) to sit down, but that wasn't a big ask for us who were planning on eating and drinking and enjoying the view. I understood they are trying to avoid people lingering and taking up some of the valuable space they have available to...
Read moreWe got the mixed ceviche, grilled fish, garlic butter shrimp, three beers and a mezcal pour - all for about 500 pesos per person. They came out a bit on the slow side considering we were one of two customers, but the food was phenomenal. I was definitely surprised at the quality and freshness of the seafood. Apparently they get their shrimp from a pier 30 minutes away.
The views are also quite spectacular. If you spend 400 pesos per person, you get access to their pool which is well worth it. When we were there (~3:30-5pm) we got the whole pool to ourselves. I’d...
