El Pescador — Restaurant in Oaxaca

My glass wasn't washed- it had lipstick on it. Frappe iced drinks weren't blended. Bland food. Worst of all, the fabric overhead to block out the sun looks solid from a distance, but you can see the sun right through it when you're close. It lets sunlight through and maybe even the plastic acts as a lens to magnify it. We were burned to a crisp, thinking we were protected. We saw the same thing happen to another unsuspecting couple. Two other days we were at the place right next to it (first place on the beach. Closest to the rocks.) Which has really good food (the best we had in Mazunte) and thick umbrellas for solid shade. Somewhat weird pricing, so pay attention to what you order: torta de huevo & queso 40mxn, basically a medium sized delicious burger with avocado, mayonese, cheese, egg & salsa on the side VS spagetti with some mushrooms in butter for 150mxn. Same with agua de fruta, which is basically a thick juice there for 30 vs lemonade (same as agua de lemon) for 50.. also i had to pay 10mxn toilet fee 10 min after we moved from the terace a few meters into the sun after paying the check & having spend an entire afternoon there, which strook me...

The worst cocktail I have ever tasted.....we ordered 2for1 on passion fruit margs. This green monstrosity arrived. Wouldn't of bothered me if it had some alcohol in it and tasted nice. It was like a glass of dish soap with a hint of passion fruit syrup. We complained, the guy went to 'fix' the drinks, which apparently had blue Curacao in them for some reason...brought them back unchanged in a different glass. Moral of the story is if you want to sit on their nice red chairs, stuck...
