Wow, we wish we tried this place sooner. It looks like a “restaurant chain” with all the ingredients laid out so I thought it wouldn’t be that tasty… but it is! I had a falafel bowl with toppings like cous cous, mango chutney, lentils, cauliflower, chipotle hummus, rice. Plus you get to scoop as many spiced peanuts on top.
The falafels are so good. So crunchy and flavorsome. The chipotle hummus, soooo good. I was also really surprised how tasty the lentils were, as usually lentils are so bland but they were amazing and I felt so good in my body after. Big serving size so I was able to have leftovers. What I don't like about this franchise being present here is not that it is selling overpriced unauthentic whitewashed food (if people desire that then so be it). My bowl was generally good and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the falafel was dry and mediocre (only 3 pieces).
Bowls are fairly priced, but not a steal. Beer is overpriced at 60 pesos a can; many places in town charge 40. Better have ur drink elsewhere.
Unfortunately, several menu items were unavailable, including the Baba Ganoush I was hoping for. It’s best to check for availability before ordering.
