During my visit to Oaxaca, I stumbled upon this great coffee shop, and it quickly became the a morning routine while on my trip. The coffee was nothing short of exceptional—rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed. Each sip was a reminder of the artistry behind Oaxacan coffee culture.
The pastries? Simply divine. Every bite was a testament to the skill and care that went into their creation, from buttery croissants to locally inspired treats that paired perfectly with my cappuccino. I recommend the banana and chocolate croissant. Amazing!
The atmosphere was equally inviting, with warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax and linger. Whether you’re catching up with friends or simply soaking in the vibrant Oaxacan energy, this place is perfect.
The staff were another standout—they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their recommendations led me to try new flavors I might have overlooked otherwise.

Read moreThis place was so cutesy! We went here to grab some pastries to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was lovely. At first it was a little confusing because the guy who was working saw that we had a really big group, so he tried ushering us to their bigger location down the street, but we clarified that we only wanted to-go, so it was perfectly fine. After that was figured out, it was smooth sailing. I ordered a tiramisu (although I didn't realize it was a tiramisu at first so I tried saying "el postre con tres niveles", thank goodness they understood me) and boy it was so good! Very rich and sweet, though I think I wasn't able to eat it all cause it was a lot. The guy who first tried ushering us out was very kind and sympathetic when I didn't know that it was a tiramisu, so that was nice. Overall very nice place to go to, and it seems like a populat spot in Oaxaca because there's always people just outside...
Read moreMy husband and I have eaten at Pannela Panderio dde Barrio several times while we have been in Oaxaca. Everything is Delicious! The croissant sandwiches are heaven. The croissants are equal to one's I have had in French pastry shops. All the bread is fresh baked and superb. They offer a huge selection of quality juices, coffees and teas and Oaxacan chocolate drinks. Best food we have had in Oaxaca and we have been eating out twice a day for two weeks now. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I appreciated their patience and kindness with my beginner Spanish. If you are in Oaxaca this place...
