We've just gotten home after eating here and our minds are still blown at how phenomenal the experience was. Like the location, the menu was small but perfect. For drinks my partner got the Pisco Sour and I chose the Frozen Lemonade, both of which were delicious and a great sign of things to come. The chef, Christian, recommended a few items to us, and we decided on the Lomo Saltado and the Jalea Mixta. The Lomo Saltado came out first, and before we'd even finished the dish we were making plans to return multiple times. The beef was so beautifully tender and flavoursome and we cleaned the plate in minutes. When the Jalea Mixta came out we didn't even know where to start because it was so gorgeously presented. All the seafood was delicately spiced and seasoned and, even though it was a lot of food, there was no way we could leave a single bite. It was the lightest fried food I've ever had in my life! On top of the amazing food, watching the chef, Christian, prepare everything with such precision was a culinary masterclass - Christian is truly an artist! All of the staff were so passionate and engaging about the food, and even though we didn't speak the same language, they were so friendly and we were made to feel like friends. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, we'll definitely...
Read moreFound this 5 star place walking distance from my hotel. Was pleasantly surprised to get there and find it was Peruvian food. One of my favorites. I was excited to have the ceviche mixto and risotto with shrimp… excellent, excellent! It was so good that we went back a couple of days later as the owner highly recommended we come back and try the sushi. It didn’t disappoint, we ordered all the rolls he recommended, even the desert roll.. so delicious! We also tried one of their tepenyaki plates (chicken) so much favor and not dry. The place is outdoors, they have tables to sit and dine … I kept smelling sewage, outside seating you can smell everything in the environment .. it’s unpleasant to eat a delicious meal with bad odors in your domain…this is certainly not the restaurants fault. I hope the next time I visit and go back to Embarcadero they will be established in a facility. I highly recommend...
